very fun game consisting of mostly single-save 32px screens. it had like 1 save i didn't enjoy that much but even then it wasn't that bad. the water usage later in the game doesn't feel awkward at all compared to the gimmickless needle before it.

No difficulty rating due to the explanation below, it is completely feasible for Beginners.
There are very few fangames out there that promote the concept of unlimited playability, this is one of them. With a firm attention to the Avoidance genre, Music2 operates in the format of a Rhythm game, you have multiple avoidances to choose from and your performance in each awards you with currency to unlock even more. There are dozens of them, and each even come with different difficulties to try. I think for those outside of the avoidance genre, this might actually be one of the perfect starting places, it was for me.
The game is designed to promote this unlimited potential, particularly because the majority of your time will be spent playing avoidances with a Hit-Counter, meaning you have unlimited lives. Every hit you take will lower your score some, so based on how well you do the score you have at the end will be higher. You need a certain score to actually "Clear" the avoidance, and this is usually a pretty lenient threshold to hit. The goal of course is to get even better scores, because at the end of each run you will be awarded currency to spend in the game's shop. This currency is primarily used to unlock even more avoidances, which is going to bring the total amount pretty high. I also was lucky enough to find a version with additional ones unlocked as well, and have about well over 50 avoidances total under my account. I do want to mention that currency grinding can be pretty rough since you need a large amount of it, which is why I asked for that special version in order to go ahead and have some stuff unlocked for myself. (I am unsure if that version is public or not anymore).
The avoidances are pretty varied in how they operate, most of them won't be as flashy as typical full release games are. That said, they are still pretty fun, and I found quite a lot of them to be pretty intuitive. Most of them feature barrage style fights, but I did encounter a few pattern attacks in them, but nothing too hard to worry about on lower difficulties. I will mention though at the time I do not consider myself an "Avoidance player", so perhaps actual ones might find them more boring than I did. I will say they can be very hard when you crank up the difficulties, so there certainly is some challenging trials to overcome if you wish.
Conceptually, I view this game as a perfect 10. There are of course suggestions I would have to smooth out the experience, such as increasing the amount of currency you get, or lowering the prices in the shop, to remove a little bit of the grinding. I'm also pretty sure my version comes with a lot of "Limited Time" avoidances that most people will not have, it would be nice for these to be included in the general public release.
Overall, this is a pretty amazing fangame, and a great starting place for those looking at avoidances. The amount of effort put into this game is extremely admirable, the makers hold my absolute respect for it. I can't wait to continue my journey in it, one that does not have to ever end.
