The best description of the game is from Kurath's own review, see above.
I loved this game from beginning to end - every stage has a unique gimmick across many platforming screens, coupled with a boss that utilizes the gimmick at the end. No two stages are similar, some will branch off into other mini-areas and others will be one continuous area. The music, graphics, sound effects, and effort put into this game are incredible and should be on virtually anyone's must-play fangame list.
My only gripe with the game is pertaining to how the final boss (and its final area) were implemented - outside of this, the game is nearly flawless. A real gem that only happens once a year in the fangame community.
My difficulty rating does not include bonus stars, of which only half are needed to unlock an extra post-game feature. These are absolutely not required for the main game and I would only recommend going for ones that seem easy enough to grab on a first playthrough.

The second collab from a variety of amazing fangame makers. The game is chock-full of content and memes, more than you probably ever wanted. Disregarding the jokes, the sheer size of the game is sure to keep any fangame player occupied for several hours with a slew of gimmicks and platforming styles that everyone can enjoy. The game may give off the appearance of a "joke" due to its meme nature, but that's merely scratching the surface of what this fangame truly offers - avoidances, needle stages, adventure stages, boss stages, everything!
I tested nearly every screen in the game, and it kept me hooked from beginning to end. This game most certainly belongs on must-play lists for almost any fangame player.

The sequel to "Run the Marathon", this game was featured as the blind race game during Fangame Marathon 2017. A fantastic adventure game that will take you through some great game-themed worlds like DOOM and Terraria, all with their own crazy gimmicks along the way.
Features multiple stages (both with platforming and bosses), many gimmicks, great production value (sound effects, music, sprite/graphics choices), and a lot of heart. This game is a must-play for any fangame player!

This game is largely considered a classic of fangames, and has been a popular choice of speedruns for quite some time.
It is broken up into 7 stages, each with their own hidden area that contains 1 secret each. After collecting all secrets, you can access the "true" final area of the game, along with a boss. I highly recommend going for the true final ending of this fangame. Most certainly worth a play for any fangame player.

For: I Wanna Be the Chair 2
A unique game with an unforgettable icon - a chair!
Instead of the normal kid sprite and hitbox, it is replaced with a wooden chair, complete with its own physics. This unfortunately holds the game back in some respect, since the physics are quite different than the majority of fangames. Edge-of-block jumps are considerably harder, and otherwise simple jumps become a challenge. Other than that, the platforming aspect of the game is creative and fun with various gimmicks scattered throughout its many stages.
The gimmicks in the game include warps, low gravity, timed segments, and more. While I believe the first half of the game isn't as exciting as it could be, I'm glad I stuck with it and played through the rest. The last half of the game was fun and enjoyable, even with the altered physics.
This game also features a host of bosses, many of which are mash-heavy. This tends to be a problem when playing the boss repeatedly due to the nature of how the boss fight operates. I enjoyed a few of the bosses, but did not care for the overall fights themselves. The only exception is the final boss, which uses extremely long i-frames for its 1st phase, which could've been used elsewhere much more effectively. There seemed to be at least 1 attack in every boss fight that was not enjoyable at all, mostly of some sort of insta-gib nature.
In addition to both the platforming and bosses, there were quite a variety of bugs present (at least at the day of release). Random teleports back to stage 1, spikes not loading/appearing, music and sfx not loading properly in certain areas, among other things. These should've certainly been fixed during its testing phase, which was quite long. I hope these are addressed in a future patch.
Overall, this game is for those looking for a different kind of adventure game. While I think it fits this genre perfectly, it certainly has its flaws and drawbacks that keep it from becoming a unique fangame - similar to what Boshy has accomplished. I believe this is still a must-play for fangames, and I look forward to another game of this type!
