The first half isn't completely irredeemable. The second half, however, is a complete dumpster fire, culminating in an atrocious final boss that has an end trap after you beat it. Of course I died to it because I'm not omniscient, but fuck it, I refuse to beat it again just to dodge some shitty fucking instagib trap.

It's bad, but it's the fun kind of bad - I don't really understand why it's hated so much. You can clearly see rukito's style, although the level design isn't nearly as great as it would be in his next games. It's still rather interesting to play, so I'd recommend it for people who like hard platforming, as long as they don't mind the bad production and such.

Decent Rukito game (Probably one of the least popular ones). Looking back at it, I don't really know why did I like it. There are some interesting ideas for platforming, including nice use of standart gimmicks (Moving spikes, vine jumps) and interesting jumps, but at the same time, there are some things that just don't work well with this game. Visuals are pretty bad (Generic tilesets and unfitting colors at some points), and worse than invisible blocks that don't appear, there are invisible SPIKES that don't appear at a certain point of the game. And finally, the first boss and the last save are among the worst things I've ever seen in a fangame.
The triggers and traps are a hit-or-miss. The traps are divided between the annoying generic flying spikes placed at the end of a hard save for the sake of annoying you, and some really interesting traps that work as legitimate platforming obstacles, instead of just one-time killers. The triggers are there to make the platforming slightly less linear, and to make the player think for a while instead of just advancing. The thing is, many of these triggers are poorly placed. Some are hard to find, some feel extremely pointless, some are annoying to reach and many feel like an extra waste of time. It's not fun.
The whole game is a huge hit-or-miss, and I'm not very sure if the hits are worth it. Probably wouldn't recommend.

A rough beginning for Rukito's journey as a talented needle maker and questionable boss maker, SSR takes you on a simplistic journey through basic stages with a big of trigger and trap flair to give it some personality. However, the game being so basic doesn't lend itself well to having a lot of creativity, a lot of stuff feels samey, and this is the only Rukito game I've played where I actually was bothered by the traps. The bosses are also pretty bad, some of the weaker ones he's made. It's still a fun game though, and worth playing for historical reasons.

Pretty bad. Level design is bad, especially in the beginning, invisible player killers that could easily be replaced with spikes and the worst Rukito bosses ever. I only liked the final stage. This was his first main fangame, so whatever.
Edit: Played it again and I kinda like it a bit more so a score increase this gets.
