A very interesting and enjoyable adventure game, full of different gimmicks and challenges to keep you hooked.
The general concept of the game is The Kid travelling through the original game, only to have the colour drained as he progresses. To restore the colour to the world, he enters portraits which take him to different worlds, each with their own hooks and gimmicks. This was a very interesting way to progress, and I looked forward to finding out where I'd be headed next. The drawback of the game for me was the inconsistency. It started off really strong with genuinely funny traps and neat mechanics which made the first few worlds really enjoyable.
Then it started to get a little tedious, where some worlds had rooms that just weren't fun, or traps that got a lot less original. For example there is a Fangame Medley world which I felt was the weak link overall, where only a couple of screens were really fun and it felt a lot longer than it should've been. The Final Fantasy IX world was a very fun world but this is coming from someone who holds the original as one of their all time favourite games, so I'm somewhat biased to enjoying the references and design here. Other worlds each had their strong and weak points, but most of the time the good outweighed the bad.
Despite the mixed bag, it was still enjoyable on a whole. The final boss was also very fun to learn and get through, being a solid challenge and one of the high points of the game. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun adventure game!

probably one of the best fangames i know which is not that surprising looking at the creatorlist. pretty much all amazing creators from japan teamed up and made a masterpiece. good gimmicks, fun traps and each stage is completely different from the other one.
