It somehow included all the things I could've wanted in one bite-sized package. Thanks a ton for the gift Pat!

This is a very short, little and relatively easy game made as a gift just for Patrick, for the 2021 Secret Santa. Enjoy!

For: Christmas Deliveries 2
Arriving just in time for Christmas, Gwiz delivers another classic, full of beautiful self-drawn spritework and clever pathing all focused around a series of Santa-related stages.
Just like its predecessor, Christmas Deliveries 2 has a funny little story-of-sorts to guide the player from the beginning to the end, and the stages all feel very varied and different from each other, despite the very common theme of Santa & Christmas being shared through all of them. A lot of the gimmicks used manage to create interesting ways to path your route through any given screen, and despite the game leaning heavily on the needle-side of the things in terms of the platforming, the game never feels too much like a needle game thanks to the room layouts and general visual presentation, encapsulating a very festive needleventure feel.
The boss fights are all enjoyable and also generally easier than the platforming that preceded it, which I can appreciate. They serve as nice little breaks, and more opportunities to enjoy what zany sprite Gwiz came up with this time (although his sprite art clearly peaked on the 1st boss where he may have created what could be one of the greatest gaming icons of our generation).
I'd slightly echo what Wolsk wrote in his review, in that I felt that stage 6 was a big step up in difficulty, although I'm unsure if this is entirely down to the actual platforming precision or instead the visual challenge with the gimmick making it feel harder. Either way it felt like from here on, my playtime per save took a noticeable increase, and whilst it didn't necessarily hamper my enjoyment, it felt like perhaps some segments could be a little less precise to be more in line with the rest of the game.
Also a special shoutout to the final stage which has some particularly clever design which really caught me by surprise.
Overall a great game, and a great fangame surprise for the Christmas season.

anxKha's first solo game does not disappoint. I said this when I first played it, and I'd like to repeat that thought here. My ideal and favourite fangame that I envision, would be something just like this, only much much longer. That's not to say that the length is a detriment at all, it works perfectly to create a very fun and fresh fangame adventure that feels great to play and just all around well designed in every aspect. No jump feels weirdly precise, no gimmick felt drawn out or milked for more content, and no design decision feels "huh, a bit weird but alright". It's just a good time all-round, whilst keeping a very solid theme and focus on what the game is aiming for.
All around just a really great fangame. Can recommend to just about anybody, and would love to see more fangames in this vein (that being the whole explore rooms/areas in a location to find key items to use to solve puzzles and open new paths, akin to the older Resident Evils or the classic RPG Maker horror games, such as the one this game is noticeably influenced by.)

For: I wanna be the Huge
Huge is a mostly trap-focused fangame consisting of around 4 stages, each with a boss to round things off. The entire game has a space theme to it and the tileset more-or-less stays identical throughout, with a hue change on each stage (so don't expect to be wowed by flashy visuals and production value here).
I found the level design to be fine. The traps aren't really the funny kind (well, maybe a few are) and really just exist to add another trivial'ish thing to memorize on your next attempt. Not really my kind of thing, but it also didn't feel offensive to get through or anything. There are some cool ideas with the platforming, although there are some real clangers for the cycle-based platforming in this game. Let's just say that fast cycles clearly weren't always a consideration here.
The bosses I found to be fairly fun, although the final boss gave me more frustration than I had expected. They're all RNG-centered, with my favourite one being the 3rd boss where you get to fight some badly cropped wrinkly toad with about 20 gemstones wadged into the skin. The attacks here felt pretty fun and varied despite their simplicity.
Is the game as huge as the title implies? Well, the stages sure feel like they drag on a little longer than I'd hope for, and the size of some of your opponents can certainly give a David vs. Goliath feel. It does feel like it lacks in variety in a lot of spots (minus the bosses), and feels kind of mundane to plod through at times. Still, I did have some fun with it and it's interesting enough to keep me going throughout.
Also the credits are pretty HUGE.
