This game is made for the love anniversary of the maker and his girlfriend...

...I hope every maker can make a game to celebrate the love anniversary so that there will be so many good games to play!! XD

If your girl is willing to play a needle fangame you specially dedicated to her, you are the luckiest man on the planet, and your children will be beautiful.

Yeah...

If there is something that should be admired from sunlaoqq is his level design, which probably comes from how much in love he is (Kappa[?]). We all know this is a giant maze, but please let me elaborate further:

-It's an intricately interconnected 10X10 maze that, in the tradition of a beginner-friendly Kaenbyou entry, demands that you pay attention where you came from.
-Not only does this giant maze have a single route (unless you execute one of the several skips available featuring corners, planes and weird gates, but I will come back to this point later); this route also manages to have a progressive difficulty curve for about 75% of the run. How do you even manage to do that??
-The soundtrack is, again, gorgeous, nearly as memorable as that of Qoqoqo 2, another game that shows the wonders of his design.
-HUGE THANKS for making the hit saves transparent. I would get lost forever in this map without a... printed map.

For the record, the full map for this game looks astonishing.

What usually hurts his gameplay is his helpless fixation to adding intricate jumps here and there that spike the difficulty way too much. There is just this need that can't be explained, just like the need of dedicating something to our girl. Also, being 100 floors with a single format, it does become tedious and repetitive and some rooms look alike. I cannot blame this (too much) if the whole map is interconnected, which is a giant achievement.

However, the absolute lack of variety is mostly compensated with the experience overall. It is worth playing if you're into level design specifically.

Finally, speaking of the skips, it might seem fun, but DO NOT take them. You will regret it because the game, as a beginner's challenge, is quite obvious on what path you're supposed to take and what skips you could do with a lot of precision. If you make a skip, you will lose yourself in this maze forever. Better to follow the intended way.

P.S. So when will the day come in which a woman dedicates a fangame to a guy here? There are many handsome and valuable people in this community *cough*.

I really liked this game a lot more than I thought. It's a 10x10 room maze of fairly simple needle, where the player has to find the route to the next save. Once you reach that save, it fades out to avoid the confusion of accidentally saving at it again. The platforming is not overly difficult minus a few semi-tricky jumps in a few places, but the game is quite long and I really enjoyed trying to figure out how to use where you are now, to get to somewhere else.

There's obviously a massive amount of screen transitions and jumps through transitions, and the maker doesn't make these transitions dangerous in most cases, so it never feels cheap or unfair where you jump into a hole blind and fear landing on a spike. It's probably not for everyone, but I liked the concept and thought the maker did a great job weaving the screens together to make this massive maze.

This is a really interesting production and take on a needle game.

It's 100 floors jammed into a single winding room. The needle is tame but surprisingly varied, which lends itself well to a playstyle where you're not focusing on the needle itself but all the intertwining paths.

Somehow, in these 100 floors he manages to run a single thread with very few skips (and no substantial ones) to cover the entire map, all the while having a good variety of easy jumps (though many conceptual layouts do repeat, as you'd expect with this many crossing paths) and almost entirely gentle screen transitions. The difficulty lends itself to the pathing too - he manages to keep it from ever getting too complicated (as he's demonstrated he can) and overall its a really chill experience.

The single tileset gets a little stale, as does the music (even though it plays through a playlist of songs, they're all very similar) but since progress is consistent and smooth, it doesn't ever make you feel stuck.

I'd recommend this to new players looking for a long, easier needle game or to anyone who enjoys mazy paths. Its a much better game than qoqoqo origins to serve as an introduction to sunlao's style. If you're an experienced players who wants to play some needle, this probably isn't the game since its not particularly engaging in that regard.

This game is great. The needle itself is pretty easy (aside from a few weirdly precise jumps), but the real challenge is situational awareness. You actually have to look ahead (!) and think about where you're going, which is pretty fresh. By the end of the game I felt like I had developed a skill in analyzing interlocking level design to figure out where to go next. Sadly, I feel like this is not a skill I will be using very often.

As an aside, I really like the fact that saves fade out after you use them, such that you never accidentally save at an old save and lose progress, but I wish it had been communicated better. I didn't realize it was a thing before seeing it stated on these delfruit reviews. Also, I think a harder version of this game (not needle-wise, but maze-wise) would benefit from not having saves fade out. This would punish a lack of situational awareness and make things more tricky. That said, the design would need to be a little different. The interlocking in this game is so broad that it's quite easy at any point in the game to lose all your hours of progress by accidentally saving at an old save. In a harder version of this game, interlocking should probably not be that broad. A challenging maze is one thing, but needing to redo hours of progress due to a single mistake is not something many people will enjoy.

But anyway, yeah, surprisingly fun game.
