Needle in a Haystack is the first in Kale's re-imagining series of the original Crimson Needle, taking 25 floors or so and making various changes such as small gimmicks here and there, triggers and just all around different jumps. I found a good deal of the platforming to be a pretty enjoyable challenge with some particularly interesting twists, the fake save that's actually just a trigger on F23 made me laugh.
There are a couple of clangers and the final floor feels very unnecessary, which is just a somewhat infamous difficult floor from the original that's completely unchanged minus a gate at the end that is now a double diamond. I think Kale was just up to his old tricks with this one. It's kind of a shame because the rest of the game felt pretty well designed albeit somewhat weird and referential at times, so the final floor does dampen the experience a bit. Also there's no music in the game, so bring your own.
But yeah despite the final floor I thought it was a pretty fun needle game. It has some quirky design at parts but if you're in the mood for some difficult needle with the signature older Kale style, you'll probably enjoy most of this.

I wanna find a needle in a haystack is a buffed needle game based on Crimson Needle(1-24),it's much harder than the original version.Kale started to try to use gimmick,roll apples and gravity invert.This is fine,but I have to say some floors were really bad(Kale just cut some savepoints or simply added more needle).The game had no music and I had to play my own.The last floor is floor 80 in Crimson Needle,but the final jump was turned into a double diamond.This jump made the final floor much harder than the original floor.I think it has destroyed the whole game,although other floors are decent.So if you are not a Kale-lover I would not recommend.

Mostly a silly game, containing buffs of the earlier parts of CN1. It's definitely a mixed bag, some fun stuff, some annoying stuff, particularly the last floor which is just a regular CN1 floor with a double diamond at the end. It feels a bit thrown together but it's a fine enough experience.
