Fun and fairly short adventure. There's a story, although it's in japanese. There are some interesting small details scattered through the game, like having to equip your adventure gear (Like your gun) at the beginning of the game, before you can leave your house. After all, it's not like The Kid has to walk around with his gun even at home. The screens feel quite natural, and the traps, while mostly generic, are well placed and actually justified (You can see why would a trap be there, it's not like a spike decided to fly at you because why not). Everything in the game is there for a reason, the lava stage uses proper lava gimmicks and the sky stage uses proper sky gimmicks.
The sky stage was kinda annoying to deal with, though. The gimmick employed, along with the amount of traps and the lack of Saves, made the stage a lot less enjoyable than it should be.
The bosses felt a bit too slow-paced at some points, but they weren't bad at all. The visuals are generic, but fit nicely in the game. The musics are nice, but they restart and the death sound is annoying.
I like this game, in a way, although it could be quite better. Would recommend, maybe.

A lot of soul here and some funny stuff. However, clouds stage is really obnoxious. Outside of that - good, final boss is epic

Pretty enjoyable overall besides the cloud gimmick that added unecessary restrictions.
It would have been ok if the platforming section had a safety ground at the bottom.
The second half adding extra projectiles perhaps was unnecessary, I think the screen longer nad having a second save could have made this a little better, as this may be the longest platforming section through the whole game.
