Ein unglaublich charmantes Nadel-Abenteuerspiel von einem Klassiker, der mich immer wieder überrascht. Die Umineko-Thematik und -Musik, die Overwatch-, Touhou- und 6-Inseln-Referenzen sowie der immer so clevere Titelbildschirm und die Geschichte, die sich durch das ganze Spiel zieht, sprechen mich massiv an, schaffen es aber, eine ganz eigene Identität für jedes Gimmick und jedes neue Konzept zu haben, das sie repräsentieren, und ergänzen das Leveldesign mit sehr lustigen Ideen, ohne dass es nötig ist, sich auf einen übertriebenen Produktionswert zu konzentrieren, um es zu dem zu machen, was es ist.
Der Beatrice-Boss ist da nicht anders. Er hält dich mit jedem seiner Angriffe auf Trab und beendet das Spiel mit einem typischen EpicVormanax-Element: der automatischen Ausweichbewegung. Kurz, einfach, aber sehr süß und einzigartig. Die Persönlichkeit des Machers ist hier überall zu spüren, und dieses Gefühl spricht mich zutiefst an. Ich wünschte, mehr Macher könnten sich darauf beziehen und ihr Herz hineinlegen, um jedes Fangame abwechslungsreich und frisch genug zu gestalten und gleichzeitig ein lustiges, unvergessliches Erlebnis zu bieten. Für mich ist es das, was die Seele dieser Spiele ausmacht, und wenn die Leidenschaft so kristallklar ist, ist es unmöglich, nicht zu schätzen, wie viel sie gibt. Fantastisches Spiel, wie erwartet.

The platforming in this game is primarily based on dodging enemy attacks while doing simple jumps, which is a style I really love, combining needle and avoidance is always a great time. The boss at the end is pretty cool too, overall making this a lovely time.

I think I got annoyed at some bits and pieces of the platforming and that hindered my enjoyment of what would have otherwise been a neat and well-presented stage.

A cute little game where you avoid enemy attacks while throwing barrels and dodging some small traps. The attacks are a bit rng heavy, making some parts an annoying luck check. The boss is the real highlight of the game, it feels really fun and the two attacks at once style creates lots of unique dodges. The final "cutscene" is a cute little addition.

Stop her Slaughter is a very short adventure, consisting of a few screens and a boss fight, primarily with an Umineko theme and some other references.
The platforming is enjoyable, with a solid feel of some nice, polished, oldschool platforming. The boss is the real standout for me, themetically being designed really nicely around what's going on during the fight, and it keeps a very constant pace of moving around the arena you're given. I also really love the ending of the fight, and it tied up the short but sweet game really nicely. Overall it was a quick but very enjoyable time for me.
