Amazing charr like game.

Rating based on getting all secret coins.
Really nice charr inspired game with a much more accessible difficulty. The backbone of the game is the variety in the small themed stages and the search for the red coins, which adds an extra layer of engagement to each stage.
The platforming itself can be a bit lacking at some spots, one of the main reasons for that is the choice to use mostly (nerfed) block shaped killers throughout the game, creating a lot of jumps that are basically nerfed inverts, and in general being a more limited shape than the standard spikes. But there were no segments that really made me want to stop playing, and the use of moving obstacles was good in the majority of the game.

The game is quite inspired by Charr, but with a much more accessible difficulty, which I appreciate due to my poor fangame skills. Very entertaining and with a very fun mechanic, even though there were some parts that I found a bit difficult due to their precision.

I think Charr is possibly the most underappreciated fangame for what it is, so seeing anything based on it is absolutely awesome. This game is basically Charr for the average person, who thinks 80 difficulty cycle based platforming saves are a bit much, which is reasonable. I think there are benefits and drawbacks to this style, the benefits being that this game ditches the stuff that makes Charr a bit player hostile, being overall easier and containing less brutal segments, notably the lucky/lottery stuff. At the same time, I think this loses some of the charm Charr has in being so difficult and awkward and unnatural, which some will appreciate, but I do miss the more outlandish moments.
There's still a good deal of awesome stuff here, and lots of variety due to the increased stage count, towards the middle/end there's more wacky ideas like the quiz stage or simon stage, and that's great to see. The secret coins and achievements are absolutely on point, and the general gameplay is very fun, albeit lacking in some jump variety due to the primary killers being spike blocks, in line with the mario maker theme. I think it would be a shame to not go for 100% or at least all red coins on this one, it's worth the full experience!
