Unironically less fun than Charr. All of the platforming is extremely uninspired and the trap stage is truly atrocious. I respect the effort and vision behind this game, but I did not actually enjoy playing it at all.

The visuals and atmosphere are great, and 90% of the rooms range from good to great, I especially enjoyed the minigames and cycle-based rooms

The trap room sucks, mostly because the jumps are too precise, especially the drop into the penalty room, and the penalty room itself should warp you back to the save you were on, not the beginning. The ending troll is also rather mean.

Overall would recommend, but not to complete beginners!

A game heavily inspired by Charr, where you have to collect coins. The game is divised into multiple hubs, each with a certain amount of stages, and each stage is tagged with a letter (so there are 26 stages).
For me there were 2 distinct parts : the before stage T, and stage T and after.
Before stage T, the game is pretty fun. Some levels are honestly a bit bland or looks too similar to some other levels, but some are very interesting and have something that makes them unique. The stage without platforming but something else were also a nice break from needle.
And now comes stage T, or the trap stage. Easily the worst trap stage I have played, it tries to recreate orbit style. I'm gonna be clear, orbit isn't a good trap game, I never understood why the trap stage of that game became so legendary because it's full of flaws. The problem is that almost every attempt to make something similar hard failed and turned into something atrocious. Punishment rooms are something that cannot be good, and if you add a invisible maze within you get the perfect recipe for the tilt of the century. For me that stage was bad enough to be game ruinning, because I didn't enjoyed what come after even if it's not especially worse than some other stages.
I also wanna talk about the idea of making coins mandatory. The goal of a collectathon is of course to collect all of the shit scattered among the game, but the idea of forcing the player to collect a certain amount to progress in the next hub could have been ok if only that amount wasn't literally all the coins. It for me kills the concept of a collectathon.
Lastly, I'm gonna mention the red coins. I don't know a lot about Charr, just that it's a huge collectathon with a lot of questionnable level design choices, and I know it has the dumb idea of red coins hidden behind fake walls. Get the coins also have that idea, but didn't do anything to solve the problem it comes with. It results that when you reach the first clear screen, it says go find the red coins and if like me you don't especially like hitting yourself in literally every wall to know if there are fake ones, you will only have 2 of them because there are only 2 visible in the whole game. So except if you have a fetish that consist of exploring literally every pixel of the game, I would really not recommend the 100%.

In overall, a mixed-bag. I wish the early stages wasn't so similar, that the trap stage didn't exist, and that red coins weren't so stupidely hidden. Mendatory coins would have been way less a problem if it was the only one.
(Also one last thing : the smoothing mode is bugged and get disable when you close the game, even if it will show that it's activated)

EDIT : I wrote the review right after finishing the 26 stages, but I decided to give the red coins a chance and I take back a part of what I said about them, many of them are way more clever than what I thought. Some are still hidden behind fake walls without any logic but I was surpised to find the collect fun, which makes me give this game a better note.
