My review is a testament to sometimes you need to just put the game down and come back again the next day when you're in a better mood. Originally rated this pretty low, but on the return I found it pretty enjoyable, way more than the first time.

I still have issues with some spots, such as the final boss having so much health in an infinite jump fight (causes hand pain), and the platform area and autowalk boss are pretty obnoxious, but other stuff really makes this game worth it. The Black and White zone is by far on of the most enjoyable stages I have played in a fangame, and would highly recommend at least playing it.

I'd like to clarify Nogard's review of this game being "basically a copy of the first one", and so, I uploaded representative images. "Basically" does not mean "literally". What this game does is reduce the amount of stages from 8 to 6 (plus the extra), 4 of them having the same gimmick/design than the previous game, and redoing 2 of them in a slightly different fashion. Some work better and some don't. The stages are painted with different colors, but they sort of feel the same. The White and Black stage plays better, the climb-up section is as nice as its predecessor, the initial needle stage is as Ok as the original, the always-running gimmick here looks worse and is more unfair (including the boss, which is unfair trash, unlike the Tom & Jerry one), and the stupid section of F-Zero in the original is replaced here with something more playable and interesting. There's a new screen-wrapping section with meh design and a boring boss. The boss department is more mediocre and the last boss is very questionable design-wise, but a semi-entertaining challenge.

If you liked the original and don't mind going through what is, essentially, a remake of the first one, but shorter, then go ahead.

It seems that I'm the only one to think that but I prefer this game compared to the first one.
Novelty 2 is a sequel that took a lot of gimmick from the first game, but it doesn't mean this is a copy paste: some gimmick was polished to be more enjoyable and same for bosses, some look similar but are imo way better in this game.I especially think about the b/w gimmick, I didn't really liked it in the first game but in this one, it was really pleasant to play. There are still some meh segments but overall I think the sequel is better.
People tend to say that in the world of fangames, sequels are mostly inferior than their original but I highly disagree and this game is another proof.
