100-floor game that starts off trivially easy and ramps up to actually pretty challenging needle play in the end. Sadly it's marred by several marks of low-effort production, such as songs hard-looping and the first three (of four) bosses being downright abysmal (the first boss in particular can be killed immediately and very easily). In addition, many of the lategame floors where the challenge is also hinders you by obscuring the level or your position. Overall, it's still probably worth a play, but don't expect greatness here.

An enjoyable 100-floor game that felt like it was a great introduction to fangame beginners. The level design and difficulty curve felt pretty solid throughout, without having any specific moment to give anybody trouble. The game felt like some of the old Conquer the Blow games pattern though, with a few similarities here and there, but Rubber Trap feels like it separates itself from the Conquer the Blow series with its differences. Definitely a great game to introduce newbie fangamers to!

No idea why I like this game so much. Pretty chill 100-floor game, follows the regular format of “boss every 25 floors, first boss is a troll boss” as well. Most of the visuals in the stages are from NES games which is pretty nice and generally always has a cohesive visual style. Honestly there’s not much to say, play it if you wanna relax with a super easy fangame.

The goods: the game has a quite high production, with nice visuals and musics.
The bads: everything else. Games like blow games take half of the game to become a bit interesting, but at least they are. This game never get interesting, the first 75 floors are free and the biggest threat of all the game is a gate. I don't really understand why so much ppl gave it a high rating, but for me this is a no.
