Very short needle game, but its pretty fun. Its nice to have a 10 minute play-through of something when you're trying to think of something to do. I like it.
Note: The blocks/spikes flash through about 7 colors, and the warp portal goes fucking insane. So, if you don't like that, don't play it. Just a warning.

Edit: Review updated in 2019. 2015 me has some suspicious standards (Namely being impressed by nearly anything), so I try to update older reviews whenever I feel like it (As long as I remember that they exist, of course). It's not like my opinion changed a lot, though, I still like this game.
Fun space-themed needle game consisting of a healthy blend between unusual jumps and generic jumps often used in unusual ways. The difficulty curve is decent, though it will backtrack into freebie saves every now and then. The visuals effects are really flashy, but they look fine to me (Bright colors in a dark background, everything is pretty easy to see, background effects don't feel intrusive. If you don't have epilepsy, you should be fine). The aesthetics fit the game's theme very well, and the Kid shoots laser beams, which is a nice bonus. The music is nice, and there's no death sound so you get to properly enjoy it. The game does feel a little crude, with no title screen or save file selection, but I don't really care.
My only complaint is that this game feels a little too long. After a while, the maker starts to recycle jumps (Not as in "Spike up + spike down = Diagonal = Bad", but actually using the exact same spike arrangements from the beginning to the end of a jump) a little too often, so the game does get repetitive towards the end. It only happens near the end of the game, though, so I don't think it's that bad of an issue.
It's just a nice older needle game. It's crude, but that doesn't make it bad at all. Would recommend.

As a novice, I can say this gave me some trouble. The game in itself is kinda fun, but you can feel some parts are pretty repetitive and it sometimes has a lack of originality. The difficulty is the worst in this, as I spent second on some parts, and days on others (one part in specific...). I'd say this criteria makes this game a pretty challenging one. In general, this game is okay.
