GreeeeN is an interesting gimmick-based game that has a lot of good points, but usually quickly accompany them with a bad.
Its easy to see how this was an impactful older game, it has a ton of variety and creativity but compared to many other games at this point, it feels lacking. It takes a ton of ideas and slaps them into a game, throwing something new at you constantly but never refines them to the point where they feel well executed, so you end up with a potpourri of weird antics. That combined with the single tileset and nearly non-existent soundtrack just makes it feel lacking in a lot of ways.
The bosses (if you can call them all that) stand out though in being wild and zany, though again suffer from a bizarre lack of playability.
Overall, its got enough to hold your interest and I think its a great game for a newcomer to play and especially a newer maker to play to get ideas and think 'I can do this better' - because you absolutely can. This game has a ton of good ideas but excels at nothing, and there's plenty to learn from it and improve upon.

I've always loved this game. It's a nice game that's probably over 50 screens long, made by the same guy who made Dark Blue and Showdown. Just like Dark Blue, the game has the same music that will probably put you to sleep. This is probably my favorite of the 3 games because the platforming has a lot of different little gimmicks spread across the rooms, it's not as trolly as Dark Blue in terms of traps, and it has some bosses spaced throughout the game.
One of the bosses is the infamous soccer boss where you have to score goals, and of course the iconic space invader boss which has appeared in other games. A great game for newer players, and a great game for higher skilled players to race and run.

Bad version of dark blue, plateforming is mostly unenjoyable and bosses are all bad. There are also some minigames but, even if they come from a good idea, execution is just terrible.
Wouldn't recommend.

Basic game with some variety in gimmicks, but I think it overstays it's welcome a little and the final boss is super annoying. Still a decent time but I think if you've played Showdown you'll get little value out of this.
