Моя самая сложная пройденная игра на сегодняшний день. Я дошел до финального босса 29 февраля 2020 года и потратил на это 138 часов, после примерно 130 часов я дропнул его на долгое время (при этом у меня уже было 17 четвертых фаз, из которых один раз я дошел до второй атаки). Пару месяцев назад, после того, как я поставил пб в Камилии 2, Судалв меня "подстегнул" вернуться к этому боссу и я решил попробовать погриндить. Поначалу все шло не очень хорошо, но со временем удалось набить определенную стабильность и пройти этого босса, попутно трижды умерев на последнем хп. На боссе я просидел 308 часов, вся игра заняла 446. NOESIS CLEAR!

With how difficult this is, how evil this is, how many traps it has, how unforgivable it sometimes - with all that being said, this was really fucking worth it! Some of the best adventure in a range that you can't really witness often with that genre

However, i do think you need to be kinda prepared for what Noesis is. For myself, i for a long time has sort of disregard to main part of the game - platforming. It's just looked really obnoxious and unfun for me. However, time goes on and i started to enjoy some things in fangames, that i didn't expect to enjoy, especially i got hooked in hard adventures and oldschool adventures and with that new vision i started to understand what people liked about Noesis platforming

And i didn't regret once i got to it actually! Stages are awesome with solid amount of variety not only among the gimmicks, which are all quite interesting and used in smart ways, but also among the traps, which is core of the game. Aby really do understand how make traps works making this very worthy to beat blindly as i did, and honestly i DO recommend trying to beat platforming blindly if you has enough experience - it's totally good investment

About favourite stages - cherry cycle stages (Trigonometric Function stages) are cool and represents exactly that type of platforming that i really enjoy and sadly that you can't really find anywhere. Buttons stages (Switch stages) are also come in mind as incredibly satysfiying. Must also admit Last stage (Gimmick stage) - it was good journey. Same goes to sand stages (Underground Desert stages), which has some really funny shit. All in all, i do enjoy basically everything platforming-wise. Probably, least favourite is Relaxed stages, that has some gross things, but they were still far from being bad

Not only platforming of course, but also the bosses is big charm of the game. People usually are kinda controversial in their thoughts about them, and so am i. For my tastes, i do enjoy all main bosses, which are not avoidances, and i didn't enjoy any avoidances in general. For main bosses (forget about final for a second) - they are cool tasks, that is basically sort of chill after hard stages - they are still challenging, but in the way they never actually that hard and annoying, on opposite - they very fun and usually involving gimmicks of the stage, which is always awesome to see

Avoidances are just not my cup of tea. They not like entirely worst, but they still far from enjoyable to me. Honestly, after Catastrophe experience, i kinda expected that - well, i was right after all. They still has some charm and some unique fun attacks, but some of the stuff that used in those avoidances is just... not fucking alright. Especially, 9-5 avoidance was absolutely not healthy imo

And, of course, the final boss. Menacing four anime girls are providing classic Emperor-like challenge - long endurance fight with a lot of learny stuff and hard reading. I'm never a fan of those kind of bosses to be completely honest, if i had a choice between Destination-like and Emperor-like i will naturally always pick first one, but... This final boss is still pretty good. I mald at it a lot, got frustrated a lot, got sniped by idiotic 3-2 a lot and i still appreciate what this boss giving to you. Some attacks like 3-1, 4-1 or 4-2 are just that good to make it all worthy and overall vibe of this boss is just too fitting to being grand finale, so i had good emotions afterall, with all the pain and suffering being redeemed

At the end of day, this is perfect hard adventure experience. Noesis just take everything interesting from classic relicts of the past - Charr, Emperor, Butterfly and many others and just mixed them in very tasty packing. I'm proud of my clear of this and especially of the fact that i've cleared so many predecessors, that i've mentioned before, which makes me appreciate Noesis a lot more than i probably would without that experience. If you like hard adventures, if you didn't affraid of traps, if you ready to look in eyes to ominous long boss(es) - this is the game you should try eventually

This is one of my favorite fangames, almost all of the content in this massive journey in phenomenal in my opinion and absolutely top notch which makes it worth the long grind this game is to complete. To speak on the needle first, it's basically perfect, creative jumps, gimmicks, amazing ideas, and just overall very satisfying gameplay makes every save a treat. The difficulty can be a bit bumpy at times but I never minded. This game is a masterpiece in trigger needle, and takes the genre to it's limits with such simple tools and mechanics. It's beautiful and elegant. The bosses are little treats at the end of these needle segments, although there are some exceptions. Firstly, the four avoidances are probably the weakest part of the game, being a bit oddly designed and sometimes frustrating. My personal least favorite was 9-5, and my favorite was 9-8, but your mileage may vary. The final boss is an amazing end to this phenomenal experience, a brutally difficult challenge with four phases and great attack concepts, which is one of the most fun bosses I've ever played. I can't sing this game's praises enough, it's just nearly perfect.

the highest kind of knowledge or knowledge of the eternal forms or ideas

a fitting name for one of the most creative and intelligently designed fangames to exist.

The final boss is incredibly hard but I think most needle players can find themselves making considerable progress here, up to or even past the final stage of the game. Noesis is an incredibly unique experience and I think its a shame its not as popular of a long game to grind since I think its something every fangame player should experience.
