The sequel to crimson ripoff. Contains 50 floors like the last one. Don't play if you hate jump refreshers and vines!

The first half of the needle was nice and smooth, but the second half just kept spamming random 16px gaps and diagonals. The top border of the screen being a bonkable ceiling was really obnoxious, because in most cases you have to do a hard jump at the end of a difficult save and hope that you not bonk. Some of these jumps were pretty tight in a way that if you jump one or two frames too high you will fall down to your death and not make the jump. It especially hurts on 37 because the whole screen only has one save.
While I do adore the music choices and visuals, I think there are far better needle games by Piece that he made after this game. I wouldn't say the game is dated which it really isn't, it's just the second half of the game is not very fun and pretty grindy compared to the first half.

Pretty solid needle game, the visual changes are a great detail I like throughout the game. I think that Floor 37 still serves as an outlier in difficulty compared to stuff before it, and 49.9999's final save is pretty atrocious, but besides these I can't really complain too much. My favorite part comes from the area with dotkid, alongside the one with red sparkling jump-refreshers.
Would recommend.

Really good 50ish floors of jtool needle. Some floors are weirdly balanced and some saves are a bit annoying or too long for there own, but it was overall a great experience and a solid game.

A challenging 50 (give or take a few) floor game suitable for experienced needle players looking for something with a bit of bite to it or intermediate players looking to push themselves.
Probably my favorite thing by Piece. It drags on a bit in places but overall the design stays fresh and meaningfully challenging without resorting to too much gimmicky stuff. It's not really very similar to Kale's needle style, despite the name, but eh. While the difficulty trends upward over the course of the game, it does fluctuate quite a bit; if I have a complaint it's that some later saves/screens were overly easy and felt like filler compared to the rest of the design around them.
Overall, though, I liked it. Ended up a good deal harder than I expected, too. You definitely want to take the difficulty ratings on here at face value.
