Pretty good adventure game, it's very trap heavy, sometimes to it's fault as some saves kinda go off the deep end and throw a bunch of traps at the very end, which is a little tedious at times. The bosses are alright, I don't love them but don't dislike them either. There's a handful of gross saves but for the most part, it's chill and enjoyable, plus it's sometimes pretty funny which is a treat.

Now this was quite something, truly one of the hidden gems of the Adventure genre. The game has fun platforming, hilarious traps, some cool bosses, and a great storyline. It'll also teach you the importance of reading signs.
The Kid wakes up imprisoned on a flying ship, this is the main setting of the game where most of it will occur. As you would expect, the goal is to both escape the ship, as well as to defeat your various captors. Each of them put up a good fight throughout the game, each being entirely unique and interesting, and they'll also taunt you several times to make their job easier. I respect the fact that the progression of the game is upheld by the narrative, it makes it feel like a true adventure, something most makers don't both to attempt.
Platforming is also pretty special, and often will involve funny traps that aim to end your life. There are a few instances where they can get pretty dense, but never truly overwhelming. Occasionally you might encounter light gimmicks, such as switches that makes robots move left/right or up/down to allow you to progress. The game keeps itself fresh by always having variety in what's going on, so you'll always be doing something interesting.
At the time of reviewing this, it seems not many have heard of this game, so I hope this convinces more to give it a try. I firmly recommend it, it's from two powerful makers who know exactly how to make an adventure.

Decent adventure game, would recommend
A bit heavy handed with the traps and cycles at the beginning but it gets better as you progress
The bosses are generally good too, although the final boss can screw you over with bad luck transitions
Bonus points for Chrono Trigger

From the creators of Ash and one of the makers for get the Five Stars, an overlooked adventure trap game.
This game has some neat gimmicks with an understandable story even with the language barrier. It also has hand drawn bosses which was nice to see.
The only issues I have with this game are the bosses feeling like luck sometimes, especially the final boss that can give you bad RNG.
Despite this, it shouldn't drive you away from such a charming game.
