a fangame inspired by syobon action. most of the levels are direct copies of the original game, but with a few different and original traps sprinkled in. the game has quite a few bugs, like how the kid can sometimes get stuck on the edge of the blocks. theres also different enemies (theres ones you can land on and ones that kill you if you try to do so), but theres no clear indication of which ones which.
the game has 2 bosses, though admittedly neither of them are that fun. the first one is fairly simple, with it being mostly just falling spikes and jumping lava bubbles that come out of the floor while cat mario moves and jumps around. i died once after killing it the first time because i wasnt sure whether i had to go down or to the right, so i just assumed i had to go to the right. turns out you had to go down instead, and there was no indication for that either so you just had to guess where to go.
after you beat the boss theres a section filled mostly with spinning fire bars and no traps whatsoever (which im honestly kinda thankful for). after that section is the final boss which is by far the most irritating part of this game. its a giant cat mario that you have to kill by shooting at its head, while simultaneously avoiding spike bursts, fire that pops up from the right side of the screen, and jumping on the white goomba thingies to reach its head. as you take down his health, he also starts shooting bigger spike bursts which make it very hard to kill once you reach around 20% hp-ish as you gotta rely on rng more than anything. after you kill it you also gotta wait for it to go down and destroy the blocks below you so you can finish the game, but you still have to avoid the spikes and fire while you wait which can easily kill you if youre unlucky. also none of the bosses have iframes so you can just mash to kill them.
once you reach the end of the game, there is a pipe that takes you to another level, however ill treat that as an extra as the game is seemingly supposed to end after the second bossfight.
