Fun adventure. The main feature here is that there are 4 stages that will get more difficult as you go through the game. Basically sort of "Bifficult" buffs, and it will happen twice, so like 12 stages in total. For unlocking next buffed stages you need to finish all current ones and then new pack of stages will be released in hub. Honestly, pretty nice gameplay decision, it was always interesting to take a look on next stage to see what buffs are added and buffs themselves are quite creative and applies to bosses of stages as well, which is always awesome to witness
Stages themselves are somewhat of your basic generic adventure stages but in a good way - traps are not that evil and there's some good cycle platforming occasionaly. Bosses are a main threat, i really liked green apple with core gimmick of not hitting small apples, blue apple was also kinda wacky in fun way. Red apple was more about basic stuff and avoidance was like alright, but kinda drags on a bit too much for me, especially in last iteration. After beating final buffed stages there will be last stage, which is not a big deal, and then last boss, which was fun and a bit hard. All in all, it was pretty fun. Aside of avoidances, i easily had good time with pretty much everything. Can recommend for old-school adventure enjoyers
