This was a pretty good game overall. The trap stage had some good fake-outs and didn't go on for longer than it needed to. (Note you're supposed to die to the apple boss at the end of that stage). The stage where you had to guide the kid clone was pretty creative and very well designed. The intermission screen where you had the avoidance platforming with the two avoidances was probably my least favorite part of the game, just because it felt like filler to me, but I still enjoyed it a bit. The needle stage was probably my favorite one, and the Reveal Spoiler caught me off guard, but it was done well, and had saves in between all the phases, so it wasn't as nearly as obnoxious as it could have been. Overall I'd definitely recommend this game.

Deviate is a really solid adventure game that knows how to keep the pace rolling.
It's seemingly inspired by another fangame called Call Me It, but as someone who has never played that I can say this definitely stands on its own feet independently. As mentioned, the pace is pretty quick so within a hour you'll have done quite a lot of stuff ranging from a trap stage to a puzzle stage to even an avoidance with an emphasis on platforming. That avoidance is really fun, and the final boss later on is also pretty solid since you get a checkpoint for every new attack it uses.
Overall, if you want to play a good old fashioned adventure game with some interesting elements you should check this out. Definitely a recommendation from me.
