I think this game is kinda goes on too long, a lot of stages feel like they lose their luster halfway through and keep going, nothing super bad but could benefit from being shorter.

The game opens with a brief segment of line needle that seems to promise something interesting, but it never lives up to its potential. The 5 main stages are super generic, with very basic tilesets and an abundance of named jumps. The difficulty is most present in unpleasant ways, with awkward jumps shoehorned in. The 5th stage has an L-needle esque screen that is particularly unpleasant, with lots of boring, annoying jumps.
After the 5 stages is a "last stage", that returns to the line needle. However, it is an abortive affair that only lasts about a screen. It never really goes anywhere, and ends up just being a confusing finale.
The game is also lacking in production value in some weird ways. Notably, some sections of the game lack music, which is really jarring. In addition, some screen edges lead to empty rooms instead of killing you, and some saves are missing bullet blockers.
Overall, the game's errors are not too egregious, but they are enough to prevent this game from being recommendable, especially given the genericness of the level design.

Very enjoyable needle with weird difficulty spikes. The first two stages were quite easy however some jumps were very hard especially the one leading to the secret which took a tenth on my clear time. The third stage was very difficult compared to the previous two and its final screen increased the difficulty rating that I was going to give it, it was much shorter than the previous two however. The final stage wasn't hard and had a bit of cheese that made it a lot easier, it was also very short. The music was very good and the tile sets were not distracting apart from one which blended into itself a bit, hiding some platforms and spikes but the devs added notes that did assist with identifying these platforms.
