Witch's Tower was the sequel to my first game, Witch's Needle. This game has a more focused theme on stages having central gimmicks or ideas, although for the most part it remains grounded in normal'ish needle without any real gimmicks. It's 5 stages long, all roughly the same length or so. There are a few saves (particularly right near the end) that I'm pretty not fond of 4 years later, but all-in-all I was happy with how the game turned out.

For the most part a fun needle game, with some nice movements and pretty fun design. Each stage incorporates some small gimmicks, and I ultimately think limiting these to a single stage is to the game's detriment. The trigger usage in stage 2 is probably the highlight of the game, I wish they had existed in the subsequent stages.
The difficulty balance is a bit whack, especially in the final stage, where it becomes almost unbearable. Shoutouts to the penultimate save, which is frankly awful. It's far more precise than anything else, it manifests in a sequence of really unpleasant jumps.
Overall, this game is a tentative recommendation, although with the exception of a few saves in final stage it would be a full recommendation. Your call if you want to put up with that.

A super fun and well thought-out needle, chalked full of extremely unique jumps that feel as satisfying to play as they look. The only gripe is save-balancing, where it gets particularly bad within the final stage, but not to a point to where it becomes annoying or anything like that. Genuinely super fun needle that I would recommend to anyone!
