Short Christmas game from 2017, consisting from 3 platforming screens and 1 final avoidance. Game's title screen says 'Ate Chciken?' - not sure if it was intentional misspelling. If it was, then that is a bit funny.
First and second platforming screens are extremely trap-based, and, while being creative, these traps were still a bit tedious to perform. I liked that the game had Christmas theme all over the place with some surprises. There was originality in this game. However, some traps were more precise than they had to be, so it can make you frustrated enough.
Third screen is kinda like an avoidance (except you have to do 2 easy jumps before that). You just have to avoid random bottles that keep making level of water higher and higher, while making sound effects that get shorter and shorter the higher the level of water gets. Then screen gets dark. Well, it was very fine screen.
Then you have a cutscene, which will probably reveal why this game is called 'Ate Chicken?'. A bit random stuff, and I do not know what was said in Japanese, so I cannot judge on what was going on there.
After that you have a very short easy luck-based avoidance, based on KFC Japanese commercial from 1986 (apparently). It was funny, and had some visual effects. It was not annoying to be fair. And then you get '3 9 for playing'.
I appreciate the original ideas in this game (which is not a surprise, knowing who is the author), and the whole Christmas vibe fits for this game. However, gameplay is very much hit or miss. And it is kinda critical when you have such short experience with the game. It won't do too much harm, but I am not sure if it will the best experience that you can get in 2025.
I am leaning towards saying that I would not recommend, unless you don't mind to go through some precise-ish (but still easy enough) moments.
