Based on Insane difficulty. Well, how can i say this. Yep, this game has astonishing visual design, it's easily one of the best i've seen in fangames in general - a lot of unique tilesets with pleasant effects and details, i find myself always liking them and this is by far strongest side of the game
HOWEVER
Gameplay-wise this game is nothing less than huge mess. Save balance doesn't exist. If we starting with needle - it's big mixed bug. Very early in the game you will obtain sword, which allows you to make additional force jump in air, which will break platforming drastically. Sometimes maker like idk forget (???) that sword was even added, because stage later he introduces jump refresher gimmick, which is basically somewhat of copy of sword ability, which is definitely a moment. This strange stuff will happen during all the game, sometimes maker will like remember that sword is in the game and makes some saves that required it, but not that many, which makes everything even more questionable
Not only this, but some ridiculous gimmicks will happen during needle part, like awkward sticky platform or limited vision; also sometimes game will drop on you generic traps, that are really felt out of place. The later needle is, the more strict it will become; i have feeling like maker just dropped attempts of creating gimmicks in second half and just fill it with straightforward needle with a kinda claustrophobic vibe and also a lot of unnessessary filled space of dead end paths or useless time-wasters buttons that opens closed paths right before your hands, which leaves me with really strange and tbh mostly meh aftertaste, even tho i don't feel like any save in the game cause me real pain and some segments were fun and driving. One of the saves tho was really hard and cursed, which happens somewhere in second half of the game and requires precise refresher maneuvers
Bosses are even more wacky. They are completely out of balance, one boss will be literally piece of cake, and then suddenly next boss will be fucking nightmare. Early bosses are mostly about patterns, they are not that interesting, even despite having some cool ideas occasionally. Bad time starts with duo of Touhou girls in stage 2 - this boss is one of the most overextended and dumb boss i've ever played. It also provides one of the most annoying attack i've ever seen - curvings that one of the girls will spawn on you from very low height which will cause you a very fucking lot of deaths, because they will be always mixed up with attacks from second girl. Both of girls has unreasonable amount of HP, that will make fight very long and game of chokes basically after you takedown one of them (can't to not mention that last girl will introduce new attacks in addition!). Overall, this was extremely frustrating and hard, definitely a point where i question myself why i'm playing this
After this tho game returns to okay-ish state, even tho stage 3 boss is fucking nothing in comparison. I'd say stage 4 bosses are pretty PogChamp, especially Flandre Scarlet secret boss (i will mention this aspect of the game later), that requires a lot of strats and using of sword (also a lot of good RNG reading), and final boss of stage 5, which is great example of position control fight. Final boss tho is very strange, it consists of three phases with checkpoints. First phase is just avoidance, where you have a lot of HP, it was not that bad. Second phase is also avoidance, it was kinda intense, but at this point you will start to ask where is actual end of the game. Then happens phase three - insanely fucking cool-looking boss with epic RNG attacks and atmosphere, actually best thing in the game by far... that got somewhat spoiled with addition of... yeah, fourth phase! It will happen immediately after previous phase and completely rip off entire atmosphere, because this is funky and awkward pattern avoidance, and yeah, this is actually last bit of the game, after it you will be just immediately dropped in the hub without even credits, lol. Most anticlimatic ending of all time? For fucking sure
This ending tho tbh concludes entire vibe of the game - it's just huge mess as i say early. To conclude it, let me tell also about secret bosses. So basically despite they are "secret" (even tho they are really obvious to find), they are fucking required, because if you don't beat them, guess what? They will appear before final boss warp and you will need to beat it anyways... So what's the actual point, you will ask? I don't know. I seriously don't see how maker makes this design decisions. It really contrasting to visual effort and overall production value that was laid down in this game. Can i recommend this game? Well, if you can close eyes to problems, that i described, and just enjoy the ride - yes go try it. But i honestly can't see how this game considering such a great example of adventure. For me, it's definitely not
P.S: Oh, also this game has a story. I didn't read tho

Interesting game, it feels mostly like a needle game considering the fact the bosses are mostly pretty trivial to defeat, with some exceptions. Despite that it's quite fun, it's got this cool "sword" thing you can shoot up or down and changes the platforming pretty drastically. Like I said the bosses go down pretty quick but the main exception is some of the bosses where you are given HP and the K3 inspired Flandre fight which is way harder than anything else in the game? In general the difficulty is kinda all over the place since stage 4 is way harder than the rest by a drastic margin, but it's not a big deal. I also really liked the rest of the stage 4 bosses that weren't flandre so that's nice. Cool game even if that ending is ultra anticlimactic.

Very long and monotonous needle. A boring design sometimes does not change for a dozen screens. Jumps are also often standard. Only bosses can be interesting.
In the middle, I launched a new game, and then returned the old save game, after which the troops lost HP and became immortal. To start the game again, I have neither the strength nor the desire.
