CocoaKitteh
a modified version of the original engine trial, with a lot of meaningless changes like different sprites for a lot of things (player, spikes, save points, etc) and different tilesets and backgrounds. it does have somewhat better physics than the standard Tijit engine tho (The Kid doesn't feel as floaty)
among the... debatably useful additions this engine has are a very simple menu (with the only options being to start a new game, load it or quit), a sample boss (Boshy) with only 3 attacks, which after the third attack, the attacks don't loop (neither are they shuffled) and instead it only does the last attack indefinitely until you kill him, and hey, at least the music doesn't restart so that's also nice
there's nothing in this engine that really warrants using it as there are a lot of engines that are way better, but it certainly does exist
