really comfy game. kaban's stage was a cute spotlight gimmick stage. i actually didnt find the spotlight to be intrusive with the gameplay, it was just neato. i just found some of the cycles to be a bit wait-y. poimoi's stage is some chill needle, although i found a jump or two to be a bit harder than the rest. i enjoyed!

First area is very aesthetically pleasing, despite using spotlight. Second area is more traditional needle. I played this like 2 hours ago and don't really remember it.

Meh. Kaban stage has some nice visual effects, but it also gets in the way of gameplay. Parts of the stage have a gimmick that basically boils down to a patience test; you have to just wait on moving stuff, not always but sometimes due to bad starting cycles. That combined with limited vision just creates frustration and boredom. Limited vision is especially annoying because there are times where you just can't see what's ahead and you'll probably die to it. The fact that the main hazard blends in with the grass on the tile set doesn't do it any favours, either.. The mix of so many random gimmicks ends up with the stage feeling messy and unfocused, rather than interesting and varied. PoiMoi's stage is a fair bit harder than the Kaban's, as it is needle with some mild gimmicks sprinkled in sometimes. Nothing spectacular, but it's fine. Kaban's stage has some charm, but I don't really find anything about PoiMoi's stage to be particularly interesting. I wouldn't recommend this game, but I also wouldn't recommend not playing it. It just exists in my eyes.

A short but enjoyable collab featuring two different makers, with an area each. KabanFriends' area felt like the easier of the two and primarily features a light effect that's actually implemented in an interesting way and kill blocks skinned as pumpkins.Poi Moi's area is slightly more difficult, having a few needle jumps that are more precise, it took me the longest of the two but was still fun. Both areas also have a few gimmicks every now and then, such as triple jump or gravity flippers.
Overall, it's a pretty enjoyable experience for the short time it lasts.
