Have been using this engine for a project and it's great. Comes with many useful features and optimizations. The engine is well-written. Many of the new systems, like the triggers, just instantly clicked because of how easily readable everything is. Unless you need some crazy feature from gms, this is the way to go.

Great engine in terms of user friendliness and large amount of features. For needle makers, you probably want to do some tweaks to match yuuutu - see zero's complains about renex engine FTFA-like. Also please use latest development build from github, and merge updated codes into your game. It's different from 'stable' release and resolves many issues specific to needle games.

The engine is really good, but at the same time operates vastly differently to how most other engines work, so being willing to re-learn how an engine operates really decides if you will like the engine.

Edit: Based Floogle actually fixed input delay. Renex is still based too though.
Also, he actually wrote a good, user friendly, full featured engine.
