The needle's pretty good for a simple style. I think the visuals are a detriment here; specifically, the background and spikes/blocks don't mix well together, particularly for a needle game. One or the other would be fine. I did like the decorative tiles, though.

It's good needle, but the blocks and spikes fit too well in the dark background (kind of visually tiring).
