Had way more fun with this than pinacol, the author definitely improved on attack design.

Feel free to take this review with various pinches of salt, as I am admittedly not the target audience for this game, and I have yet to clear it (though I have played it for an hour and a half at time of writing and have made it around 3:00 out of 3:30 through it). For the same reasons, I am not giving this game a quality rating.
I thought I'd try this game after seeing bakudan's clear video of it, finding the patterns interesting-looking and very much enjoying the song used in it. Unfortunately, as it turns out, I didn't find it as fun to play as I did to watch. The game is a single avoidance which gives you 15HP to clear it (technically 16, because you live at 0HP, but then the next hit kills you). It feels like you're expected to abuse the fact you have HP at times, which feels like an antithesis to the point of having HP in an avoidance in the first place. Personally, I advocate for more avoidances having player HP, but it shouldn't be used as an excuse for unbalanced RNG like this game seems to use it as.
I could name several moments during playing where it feels like you're completely at the mercy of randomness (excessively so by avoidance standards, in my opinion) and just expected to tank through it anyway. On top of this are various patterns scattered throughout which vary in precision and reasonableness. The toughest of them seem to be in the second half of the avoidance, at which point you may or may not have enough HP to deal with them tolerantly.
I can respect this as a music video, but I'd respect it more if it was more friendly about being a game.
