I appreciate what's being tried here; this is clearly an artistic expression. Unfortunately, however, the experience kind of falls flat.
There is a certain jank factor this game has that kind of breaks the flow, adds frustration and ultimately ends up putting a damper on the game overall. The "choice" section is really weird and not easy to understand at first, but when you do understand it, it is frustrating to play. There are off-screen warps with seemingly random positioning (meaning sometimes you die to the screen border, sometimes you warp) but even when you warp, you end up on the edge of the screen, in midair, holding the direction you exited the screen from. So you'll probably die to the screen transition if you do manage to warp, and if you don't then you have to get lucky with RNG jump refreshers... it's disappointing, I wanted to see the rest of the game through but this part is just so annoying it feels like a waste of time.
The platforming is not very interesting, but it does its job I suppose. I feel like the game shouldn't be afraid to have some 0 difficulty segments -- a moment that feels important to the theme is squandered because you have arbitrarily chosen screen wrap on one axis and invisible killers on the other. It can become a chore if you die to every single screen in this segment, and ruins the impact it could otherwise have.
This review is based on Easy mode, where you can pick spikes to delete. Interesting way to balance the difficulty, but it kind of feels like "I don't want to balance my game, can you do it for me?" I wouldn't personally recommend this game in its current state.

Rating based on easy mode.
Egg's review explains it the best. The idea is there but the platforming and gimmicks fall flat. The needle is mostly generic and linear and the hardest jumps you can find are corners and water planes. The idea of the rain being water is cool but then it ends up being RNG-based because its only the raindrops that let you jump instead of there being invisible water to make it easier.
I found this secret(?) screen above the screen with the sign and the large pool of water that kills you where it spawns a bunch of gray rain that kills you. You can go to the left by pressing F2 and making the rain despawn, but touching the ? block to the left makes it float away from you so you can never touch it. If you go to the top left there is another block that does the same with nothing else happening on the screen and if you leave the screen you die. I think its entirely pointless.
The last part is kinda cool where you have to jump to the floating kid but the later screens are very confusing.
There is a short avoidance at the end that gives you 2 HP and long iframes and it ends after a minute. You can beat it in a couple of tries.
The core idea of the game is really cool but everything else is kinda mediocre. I wish it did more than just traversing through random needle screens and right when it gets interesting the game ends. It would be cool if the maker decided to revamp this idea and turn it into something better, but I doubt that will happen.

Seems like an interesting game. I liked being able to use the water droplets to get through some of the areas but I gave up on the game after I couldn't figure out that meaning of when the water was once blue. Couldn't touch it and couldn't use the rain drops to jump through.
