A procedurally generated fangame made in Unity. The goal is to venture out in the world and collect materials to build a house. You have limited lives and warp points that you can unlock at random spots to go to when you lose all your lives. It’s very simple and the needle is pretty average but it’s fun for what it is. The production of the game is top-notch for being made in 5 days but that’s just the power of Unity tbh. I will say the randomness of when you get a warp point is a little obnoxious. Sometimes you’ll travel a long way and not get any warp points and sometimes they’ll be literally right next to each other. In addition, sometimes the world doesn’t generate anything at the bottom sections, which didn’t bother me much, but it did in fact happen. Heavily recommended for the concept alone.

A pretty great Needle game set in the format of Minecraft. You have a generated world based on a few preset needle segments created mainly by Sanctus. Chrisay of course is responsible for the heavy lifting of the project, and once again proves his might as a unique fangame maker.
The game is pretty simple, and yet also somewhat hard. There are a few needle segments in here that might prove a bit tough for more beginner players, so despite the calm aesthetic be wary this game has teeth. The real struggle in the game depends on your luck, the world generation will often be quite a problem for the player. Sometimes you may need to walk a whole mile in order to unlock a new teleporter, and sometimes they might be right next to each other. My main complaint from the game comes for the item generation, the Cobblestone was particularly the hardest to get since it seemed to spawn so rarely for me, and its height range seemed pretty strict. Also on a minor note, I wish the game was not in Fullscreen, that really doesn't work for Needle to me.
Overall, what a brilliant entry for the Game Jam, I can't believe this took a week or less. Great game, I definitely recommend it.
