first jump is valign and halign dependent, you spawn with the best align for both. every save after the first includes a ledge and for screen 4 its the final jump. takes the save pacing of FTFA to its extreme, where each save has 1 or 2 absurdly precise jumps while the rest are laughably easy. where in FTFA the "filler" jumps were still moderately challenging, the one here are just completely irrelevant to the save's difficulty.

that said its by far the most accurate attempt of an FTFA-like uploaded to delfruit

I think this is the game which most closely resembles the essence of what makes "I Wanna Fly the Far Away" "I Wanna Fly the Far Away." Aside from the first jump not being intuitive whatsoever, the game is pretty solid if you're a fan of this style of game. It has Setup-based jumps, but they're typically a bit more lenient than that of what most people would call an "FTFA-Like." The game has a decent amount of 20 difficulty jumps sprinkled in that feel like they exist solely for decorative purposes -- while this isn't a strict negative, I feel it is a bit out of place and kind of exists to pad the length of the saves.

I do think it's a bit weird to include jmaps for each screen as well as a "Practice" mode with more save points, but that's just me nitpicking.

Recommended if you like games which draw inspiration from FTFA, and if you don't, maybe this will help you appreciate them a little bit more? Probably not, though, due to its simple presentation and simple needle design.

Disclaimer: I was a tester.

Fly Sky High is, as the name suggests, an FTFA-like. It stays true to its namesake in many ways (none of which I'll spoil); yet it addresses a concern that many players have with the original: its difficulty.

This game is far more accessible for the majority of players. Two things I appreciate about its difficulty are:

1) It is beatable for players interested in the style but not skilled enough for existing FTFA-likes; and
2) It still poses enough challenge for players beyond the skill level required to remain enjoyable to play through.

This combination is not easy to find, which makes me appreciate Fly Sky High that much more.

If you're on the fence about trying FTFA-likes and can handle this difficulty, then strongly consider giving this one a shot.

Honestly, ive been looking to get into FTFA-likes for a good while, a couple months id say, I think this fan game is probably one of the best options to get into this kind of needle if you are interested in it as well, if your goal is to beat the original FTFA but you don't have the skill to do it yet I definitely recommend giving this game a try.

Totally recommended.
