An extremely well put together needle game, Trinkets has you going on an adventure with a lot of variety in every sense of the word. To me the strongest aspect of the game is the aesthetics, especially the visuals are just incredibly impressive to me. Everything looks so different and all of it looks amazing, the game has a nice border around it, the save effect, even the intro sequence when you just boot up the game is really cool, the game is just radiating an aura that tells you that the people who made it put a lot of love and care into it. Good visuals however are not as important to me as the gameplay, but luckily Trinkets delivers a lot in that respect too, with some really interesting gimmicks, both simple and complex, that lead to some really interesting platforming. I think my favorite stages in the game were 3 (purple with the neon tiles that give/remove jumps), 6 (the rave stage), and 9 (the one with the platforms which kinda looks metallic). With that being said the game has no weak stages and only like 2 saves I had much to complain about really, which is pretty minor for a full scale game. It's definitely a must play for anyone who likes modern needle, it's really really good and it feels like something truly special.
Edit: I think the more I play this game the more I like it, the replay value is really high and the saves I disliked the first time around were fun the second time around. The game is just really cool and feels good to play. I would probably even say it's one of the most replayable needle games ever made.
