Classic game, imo it hasn't aged all that well, it's still fun but it leaves a bit to be desired.
The needle sections thankfully are short and easy because they are awfully designed, the only one I had fun with was the needle before Rin.
As for the bosses, they were alright, pretty unbalanced all around, there's like three or four super precise sections on each boss and then the rest of the attacks are completely free, Gumi being the worst offender of this.
Overall not bad but could be better.

As stated on other reviews, it's a standalone version of 'I wanna be the 2006' avoidance. For specific reviews, I'd recommend to take a look at that game's page. I don't really know why this is made, but why not! Platforming section of 2006 isn't short nor easy, I consider it as a cool option for those who don't wanna play things before this avoidance. That doesn't mean that this avoidance is perfect by any means though.
