I mostly really like this game, the needle style feels really nice to play and for the most part, it's super satisfying. I also just like how the game uses JTool mechanics. The difficulty is a bit all over the place but generally most saves have a decent amount of challenge, but most things are quite consistent which is great. My main complaint is the final save, the jump in the top left of the screen is pretty annoying, it's by far the hardest jump in the game and while you definitely get better at it with time, it doesn't feel very good to die to. It doesn't help that it's super easy to die past it, although I did get pretty unlucky and had a ton of chokes which worsened the experience. I'd still recommend the game though, it's pretty good just has that one hiccup that bothered me.

fairly simple/generic needle game with five or so stages; screens with 3-4 saves. final stage is the longest and is essentially a buffed medley of the stages before it, with an extra 4 screens of black and white precision needle. not very interesting or difficult, there are some annoying jumps in the water stages (i.e. downward water corners)

The needle design in this game is a little strange but it works, has a pretty big variety of saves and sticks to stuff you can do in JTool. The variety throughout the game is nice and the needle design is quite unconventional which makes it interesting to play, every screen feels like something a bit different. I think the first stage is by far the hardest one, so it might deter someone from playing the game, but after that it's much smoother.

The puzzles were fun to figure out, and it felt even better to have finally solved them. Perfect game, 10/10, 100% was really hard but again, felt so good to do. 100% is like around a 90, so that's why my difficulty rating is so high.

Pretty good needle, a few moments kinda stick out like a sore thumb but considering it's one of Wolfie's early works, it's mostly just cool to see how his style has developed.
