I decided to try this game out. I would have rated it higher, but the wonky controls just take away from what would otherwise be a decent and more tolerable emulation of Boshy. The double jump refreshers especially are nigh impossible to navigate, because as long as you are holding the jump key, collecting one will automatically make you jump again, even if you don't want to. Some of the triggers require advanced precision due to tight gaps and/or blazing speed.
I wouldn't call it bad, though.

I really didnt enjoy this game, the needle has stupid stuff but it wasn't super tedious or anything so not to much to say about that, kind of the harder needle for that time period with stuff which seemed ok for the time this game was made.
The avoidance however has extreme balance issues, there are like 3 attacks (including final) that can pretty much instagib you, even if ur to some degree prepared for what is coming.
The 1st half of this avoidance is basically dodging 1 / 2 attacks because you dont really have to do much else besides sitting in the corner while the attacks dont even reach out to you.
in short, i genuinely feel like this avoidance could have been much more "even for the time it was made", some questionable things made the overall experience not that fun.
