While the actual needle is quite good, the game is hampered by overwrought visuals. The spikes flash Neon style, but they're way too fast. The gimmicks are shades of yellow and green that I found to clash with the blues and purples of everything else. There are bright yellow butterflies that appear far too frequently. Just toning down the speed of the flashing and butterflies would be a major improvement.
Recommended if you can look past visuals, as the needle has some pretty good ideas and cool jumps.

Short beginner needle game. The game is focused on somewhat short saves, typically 3 or 4 per screen. This allows it to be a bit harder on a jump by jump basis than a lot of offerings at this level. Recommended for a quick play.

The second part of the game is the real meat considering how much harder second half is. There are a few saves that are harder than what they should especially in the last screen, but the unique spike formations and shapes are pretty cool and make the game fun.

I think I beat it? Got to a screen where there was just a save and invisible warp that took back to previous screen? Unsure. If there is a way past that I can't find it. The short needle part was fun

Accidentally did this not knowing how hard it would be because the fsr is wrong. Anyway this is my hardest needle clear now by quite a bit I believe. It's cool but the difficulty kinda just bounces around random places of the game. prob would've liked it more if I knew what I was in for.

Kinda iconic game mostly because one of its screen is the infamous secret 2 of k3.
While it's not a bad game, the game is only fine at its best where it's really terrible at its worst (i.e. the underwater saves) so it wasn't a very enjoyable experience, tho I guess I also played much worse.
Also the game could have better colors, red and light green aren't very pleasing to look at.
