I think 100 floor adventure games have a kind of nasty vibe to them, and the reason is that a lot of them are just boring. While they were definitely popular at some point, I feel like I hear a lot of complaints about them now, including from myself. Panasonic Bluray actually takes the steps needed to make this subgenre of adventure game work, and being something more than just a silly deathless challenge. The game has great, smooth platforming with fun mechanics, and a wonderful variety of bosses, some not even being proper bosses, giving you a treat for every 10 floors you do manage to get past. It's just a great game, and truly shows that even a more simplistic fangame can still be absolutely fantastic.

A truly bewildering experience, this game is extremely strange, in large part due to the fact that you don't really have to play any of it, due to the HP system allowing basically everything in the game to be bypassed with no effort. It's extremely confusing game design doesn't help either, with lots of backtracking for no reason, and replaying slightly buffed versions of the entire game again for no reason. I don't really understand this game at all, and I can't say I really liked it all that much. It's sort of fun to power through everything, but not for more than 5-10 minutes, and this game is much longer than that. There are certainly better beginner games.

It's a fairly alright, mostly 32-pixel, mild gimmick needle game with different worlds, secrets, a final stage, and extra dark worlds. While the gameplay itself isn't bad, the game did not feel very inspirational or like it had some cool backstory or overarching objective or anything. "Alright" is truly the best word I can think of to describe most of this game, though I remember the last dark world in particular stuck out to me as having a really cool gimmick.
There were a couple strange things/bugs that occurred to me during my playthrough. First off, I think it's strange that world 1 has a secret but no dark world. Also, when I went into the room for the last world's secret, a trigger automatically went off for some reason that moved the spike blocking the secret collectible, thereby allowing me to grab it almost immediately. And then when I finished the final stage of the game, the first dark world was already completed for me somehow. Still a decent game regardless.

Very creative adventure game, if you can get past the not amazing production, there's something truly great underneath. The gimmicks are amazing, spread throughout three very high quality stages, and the bosses are pretty fun too. The final boss especially is quite nice. The extra expands upon the ideas present in the main game, and is also quite enjoyable. It's just a solid game, with not too much to say about it beyond that!

More than anything, this game suffers from questionable pacing. It has two halves, a HUB area which was the highlight of the game, and then some linear stages where I think the game got a bit lost and felt like it went on longer than it maybe should have. There's some good ideas, but a lot of stages have pretty weak bosses, particularly the ice area boss, and some stages just simply aren't as fun as others. I really like the warioware area, and idolmaster stage is cool as well, but beyond that it's sort of unremarkable save for a few clever moments.

I really love this game, it's honestly some of the most interesting needle I've ever played. The game has 8 stages and they all feel distinct, not just in visuals but in gameplay and style. There's a mix of more vanilla needle that's decently enjoyable, and the more gimmicky areas, which is where I think the game truly shines. The absolute highlights of the experience to me were two areas, Roaka and Kiyoshi. Roaka area with it's unhinged cycles and triggers feels like something right out of Noesis, or if I may indulge a little, Charr. I love those games and I absolutely love this, it's just so fun to play and satisfying to learn and execute. Kiyoshi's area is far more reserved but just feels so amazing to play, and is still wonderfully creative. Both of these areas are difficult, however not unnaturally so, it works very well in my opinion. There's plenty of other stages I could mention, Gaborro's stage is a tad bit too learny for my tastes, but is still pretty fun to play and definitely an awesome gimmick, and I think RandomChaos and Bummer made stages that despite being very vanilla compared to the rest of the game, still felt distinct, which was great to see.
Overall Neo Needle Buffet is one of the best needle games I've played, it's an easy recommendation and it's also not insanely hard so if you are an advanced needle player, I recommend it.
