This avoidance is pure insanity, one of my favourite avoidances of all time. The game is way more balanced than normal opinkosu and overall way harder, however, the ending is still the hardest part by quite a bit. RNG wise the game honestly isn't that bad and have good strats that you can use for most attacks, I'd definitely say it's leaning more into the skill based territory.
Sections
Intro + verse 1: Pretty easy and consistent, can give you some annoying rng sometimes.
Chorus 1: Can give you rough rng but honestly very skillbased and doable most of the time, you are likely to get a consistency increase on this part.
Verse 2: This part is the worst part imo and can give you rng that just kinda shits on you rather than feeling challenging, not a big fan.
Chorus 2: First pattern is pretty hard in this version imo but the rest isn't that bad
Break(idk what to call it): Easy but can give you crap RNG sometimes.
Chorus 3 + star: This part is pure insanity, the first attack can feel hard at first but gets consistent, the real difficulty lies in the curving attack, everything else is consistent and will most likely not give you bad RNG.
Ty mr you for making this version, it was definintely an insane grind.

Rating based on 100% which I highly recommend to do if you play the game.
Needle game divised into short stages with a abrupt change in style after stage 7. I'm gonna talk about what's after first : it's honestly some of the best shit I have played. Stage 8 and extra are very creative even if I think path 2 is stupidly hard compared to the rest and bosses are really good, true final one being the best boss of all times without any exageration. The game also has an insane production and fighting true final boss is a bliss, both in gameplay and visuals.
However what prevent me to give it higher is stages 1-7. While they aren't particulary bad, the feel kinda repetitive and not that interesting, the apple gimmick being useless at best and annoying at worst. They kinda feel like the prequel with better visuals, which isn't a bad thing but I would have loved if some of them were more like the other half of the game because that's what make it worth playing.
Looking at some other reviews, I can see that some people stopped at the main game which is the biggest mistake you can do. If you choose to play this game, help yourself and play it until the very end, you won't regret it.

A really old and really hard game featuring 3 short stages and 3 avoidances. The stages are fairly chill, much easier than the avoidances and only 2 screens long each. They feel like a proto-noesis, with some light triggers in the snow stage, physics gimmicks in the purple stage, and some precise animation based jumps in the lava stage. The atmosphere in the game is surprisingly strong, given the minimal production value, and I think a lot of that is due to the games soundtrack. The musicbox songs are all very pleasant and nostalgic, and all the songs used for the avoidances are top notch for vocaloid standards.
Miku (白い雪のプリンセスは) - 9/10
Extremely fun and very long avoidance, has the classic miku layout and takes great advantage of it.
has a lot of cool attacks that are weird to read and very precise patterns in a few spots. The reverse controls in the early part of the fight is a really cool inclusion and the pacing of the fight in general is top notch. There's one attack late in the fight that involves running between different safe spots while dodging rng, which can be a bit unfair since the rng can cover up the safe spots (even if you learn multiple safe spots, the rng just says no sometimes). Easily the best fight from this game for my tastes.
Rin (トゥインクル) - 5/10
Strangely extremely easy with a couple indecipherable patterns. Once you learn them its fun to play but its a pretty stupid avoidance lmao. I recommend watching as many clear videos as possible to see who has the best strat for each weird pattern, since everyone has slightly different strats and some are better than others on different attacks. I also reccomend keeping a paint window behind the game to mark the savespots under the floor of the game window since its hard to tell just exactly where to stand and the places you need to stand are pretty tight. Once you know what to do it wont take long to beat, the rng is hilariously easy by comparison.
Gumi (メモリーズコール) 8/10
Hardest avoidance in the game, at least if you are bad at extreme RNG like I am. Most of the patterns are pretty easy minus like 2 of the orange circle attacks, but the rng, especially in chorus 1, is really intense and will test both your ability to read rng and ability to maneuver around awkward situations and tight gaps. The song here is one of my favourite vocaloid songs of all time and I think the avoidance here does it justice. Despite how hard and intimidating this avoidance is, its actually fairly chill to play since most of the hard parts are concentrated to a few parts (chorus 1, red and blue, final), and the rest is moderately challenging and interesting while still being chill enough to take a breather and not get super nervous.
This game is infamous for a reason, and while I think Abi has made much better, I still think this game is worth playing and a fun goal for any aspiring avoidance player who likes oldschool avoidances.
