As the name suggests, the goal is to fight a bunch of bosses. Sounds simple enough, however the engine is insanely odd, which becomes the real difficulty of the game. There is no variable jump, only a fixed height; as well as the keybindings are set to Q and W for whatever reason. To top it all off, the movement feels like you have permanent ice physics. Quite the recipe for a not-so-good time.

A very solid needle game that was pretty enjoyable to play, with a theme throughout that I found expressed well through the visuals and music. I'd definitely recommend this to those who can perform needle at a reasonable skill level.
However, if the final save would be considered as the "Final Boss", then the save before it should be considered an Emerald Weapon Tier Optional Super Boss, except it sadly isn't optional. That save singlehandedly took me longer than the rest of the game, which turned me away from wanting to experience the game and instead immediately desiring an ending to it.
Besides that save, I felt as if everything in the game is very reasonable and fair, and never pushes the boundaries of uncomfortable difficulty. But yeah, if you play this game up to the next to last save and stop, I can totally see why you would.

I like to think of this game as an experiment in every type of old kale needle you could ever need. You're bound to find something you'll at least tolerate, but also something you'll absolutely detest with every fiber of your being. Truly an extreme challenge for someone getting into harder needle stuff, if you can't stomach it I suggest skipping to crimson needle 2 or 3 altogether. However, if you're stubborn and determined, this can be a fun game to grind out, the problem stands in it's terrible moments being more memorable than the good ones. There is barely any save balance, like 90 and 94 being free while 92 and 78 for example are absolute hell. Oh yeah, speaking of 92-
92 is garbage. It's only funny if you've never played the game. Every other crimson needle has a better 92. This is easily the worst one.
Also 100 wasn't fun for me to be honest. There's one jump in particular that is just pure garbage.
But oh well, the catharsis was worth it for sure...

A few screens of killer blocks and traps followed by an avoidance that can't be accessed in another file without completing the first part of the game. Well I completed it but the password isn't working for me. kvPASSu961993v I can't figure out what kinda k is used. So i'm stuck.
