Pretty good avoidance. Has a good calm atmosphere and fun patterns! It's not perfect though. There are 2 bad RNG attacks, and the intro is kinda slow, plus the entire avoidance does feel repetitive after a while so it does lose its charm after a while. Also doesn't help that the ending is the hardest part so you will have to go through this entire avoidance over and over until it gets boring. Personally, I wouldn't have minded if some of the patterns had some variance to them to keep me more engaged but otherwise it's fine, especially for when this was released.

The second game in the GellTHE series. Much harder than the first, and somehow even more generic, being almost entirely diagonal and corner spam. There's no save blockers, which allowed for me to do some kinda fun shenanigans to get an align when I would otherwise be stuck at a bad align corner.

Short generic needle with no save blockers. Extremely easy, the hardest save is one where you have to do like five gates. The background are very distracting, and make it hard to see. There are break rooms between the needle, which is kinda cute I guess.

This is basically the same game as Wifie's Catharsis. A stage of weird moving platforms, then a neon stage. Difference is this one has one kinda hard jump. It's alright for a beginner game, but too short to really be interesting.

A very short and easy needle game. There's some interesting stuff with moving platforms that change direction when the player touches them, but overall it's too short to leave an impact. Also, I'm not sure if the version I got was missing a dll or something, but I had to ignore a crash twice every time I died.

As a big fan of Oti's later games, I wanted to come see their first. It's certainly rougher around the edges, but I can see the seed of their later style here. The first stage uses lasers and bounce pads. Bouncers are always fun to play with, but the lasers weren't super interesting, and there's at least one pretty big skip. Also, there are depth issues with the player appearing behind some objects.
Stage two focus on gravity flipping with one time use coins. I quite like this gimmick, and the bits where you were flipping in quick succession were fun. Unfortunately, there were also several obvious skips here.
The last stage was simpler, with only vines and platforms. And yet, it actually wound up being my favorite. It's the most stylistic, echoing the dark aesthetics Oti usually goes for. And the simple platforming felt a bit more refined and interesting. This stage definitely felt the most like a precursor to their next couple games!
Overall, even though the game is rough, it's still pretty fun. It's short and not too hard, so it's a pretty easy game to pick up and play when you're bored. Because of that, I recommend.

For: I wanna trial the simple needle
Yup, it's simple needle alright. Very basic, mostly named jumps. A preponderance of diagonals. Pleasant for 4 minutes if you enjoy mindlessly clearing jumps. There's a short barrage avoidance that's pretty fun, but extremely easy (I got it second try).
