Jump balance is off, saves generally have one or two jumps that make them actually difficult. Otherwise, the game is okay. It would be worse were it not for the novelty of there only being upspikes, something I didn't notice until I read moogy's review of the game. Anyways, I wouldn't really recommend this, but it's fine. If it were longer, I'd be more negative about it.

So, you're the kid. But! You also have a dot in your chest!!! Some spikes hit you, the kid, other spikes hit the dot. ?????????????????????
I really like that concept, and I feel as if it was put to relatively good use here; but, I would have liked more. It's a fun game, though, and it's neat to take a tour through classic hard rooms while not having to deal with their actual difficulty.

Very fun needle, almost all the jumps are nice, fun, and balanced. Visuals are pretty great too. The death effect lingering never really bothered me, it faded out fast enough to not get in the way.

This really is an amazing game. I was surprised to see that not only is the creator a total unknown, this was their first game. To come out of the gate with something this strong is virtually unheard of. It's a damn shame they've never made anything else, though.
It's quite a short game, so there's not much to say about it. The needle is excellently made, utilizing a couple types of water and vines as the chosen gimmicks. There's no filler to be found, every jump is killer to some degree. The visuals too are fantastic, making Temporal Spire feel like so much more than just a small needle game.
I wish Perkin had done more, but if this is all they decide to do, then they came and went on an amazing note.

There wasn't a single good save here. In fact, when I wasn't irritated, I was just bored. The visuals are decent, but that's the best I can say about this. There are gimmicks to try and spice up the gameplay, but for the most part they just exist. The conveyors, however, were very irritating due to incorrect collision order between the spikes and the conveyors.
Meh.

Great little needle game which manages to make some creative needle within the corridor genre. Everything seems like it'd be hard, but it's just easy enough that you feel slick and skilled while pulling it all off, but you don't have to put in too much effort for that feeling. Visuals are nice as well.
