Was pretty fun especially last stage has cool variety and design. There were some minor issues and noticeable disbalance through the game tho, but at the end of a day it's nice Rukito-like; definitely worth an investment if you like this genre

Imagine your average day as an avoidance player. You stumble upon the game called 'I wanna become good at needle', and you are wondering why does the game have 0 difficulty? You cannot check reviews because DF is having stomachache and absolutely does not want you to see reviews.
You are curious on what journey you will be taken and so you decide to download this masterpiece of a game.
You see that the game was made on April Fools back in 2018, so you expect that probably this is some kind of meme.
Opening up Readme file you will see some text:
'还在担心跳刺水平不行吗？让破解大佬来帮你成为跳刺大触！
Lucien will give you a Lashi Teaching, enjoy it!'
Chinese line translates roughly as 'Still worried about your jumping skills? Let the hacking guru help you become a jumping master!' or whatever.
Teach me? What do you mean? Not that I am talking with him in DMs. Oh fool...
You see that the game is called 'needlegod.exe', and you know that this is a serious stuff.
Opening up the game and looking up in the window says that if you press Esc key then you give up. And also some large number with 3 being repeated a lot of times. Great start. Once actually starting the game, the kid will meet with the floating watermelon that moves towards the kid, ready to unleash forbidden Needle knowledge.
Kid cannot escape, and you can only wait for your fate.
Kid gets teleported to the next room that says
'If you love this video, show your love to Lucien!'

You might think that maybe the videos will teach you something, and you immediately remember that you do not speak Chinese. And you cannot press Esc key, or you actually give up, and so you won't become good at needle!
What to do?
Just watching 3 hours of the video?
Actually, no one said how you should become good at needle.
So just make the video on 2 speed, and do something else meanwhile. This will save your time, and will make everything much more effective, believe me. Faster = better. For sure.
Maybe you won't understand every word, but the determination to become good at needle will help you out. What do you mean you are just an avoidance player? Just listen to the wise words, that you will never hear again (probably). This is the time for Stream of consciousness.

After you beat the game and after you give up (aka press Esc key), the game opens up cmd and will delete itself (only .exe) from your computer (reason for the tag 'Jumpscare'). You gave up. So you do not need for game to tell what to do to become god. It told once and that is enough.
Oh, what is the meaning to play this game if I have already revealed the secrets of the gods? I mean. You do not. Just watch Lucien's video if you wanna.
Game served its reason to educate. And now I will educate you as well. No reasons to play the game.
Conclusion: Would not recommend.

Stages were fun but some of the bosses had way too many loops of phases and lasted unnecessarily long, and only made it annoying and unfun to play. It didn't add any more challenge it feels so pointless and just made me feel fatigued. Final boss was cool but some of the attacks were such a random spike in difficulty compared to the others and then other attacks were a complete joke and just a waste of time but it was more fun than any of the other bosses. I liked the traps and normal gameplay though like I said those were pretty fun and I had a good time with those but the bosses hold this game back kind of. this game is still more fun than alot of other ones I've played that are rated higher but for some reason this one is rated so low idk what's up with that. this game really isn't that bad compared to some other ones
