For: I wanna Become the Vegetable 2
I was a changed man after playing Vegetable 2.
The sheer beauty of the environments in this game were enough to put it up there with the all-time greats, but this game does more than look great. It plays like a dream, it will take you on an emotional journey unlike anything you've ever witnessed, and it will give you something to think about for a long time.
Each stage is masterfully crafted to the tiniest detail. Aolan, using Game Maker as his canvas, incorporates these works of art in video game form, presenting a variety of platforming challenges for the player to overcome on his journey. Every screen is breathtaking in its novelty and creativity, sometimes I just had to sit back and look at it for a while to take it in - to know what it's like to see an artistic masterpiece first hand. The limitations of Game Maker are really pushed to their ends here, with some amazing technical feats that had my jaw drop. Immersive sound effects, Hyper-realistic face animations and explosions, and a soundtrack that perfectly compliments the atmosphere, to a degree that I had not previously known was possible.
The story in this game is one of the most elegant, intricate and thought-provoking things I've ever seen, in any piece of writing or media. It is the tale of a young vegetable and a dream, an adventure across time and space, and an adversary that will shake you to your core. Upon reaching the final boss encounter, you are given a short yet life-changing exchange of dialogue. I will never forget what was said on that fateful occasion. The writing is unmatched in any medium. You thought Quentin Tarantino was the master of dialogue? Not even close. And the voice acting was absolutely spot-on. I could feel the passion and the emotion coming through the voice. It was unthinkable for me to even imagine that was an actor behind the voice. Needless to say, I was completely immersed all the way to the end. And the ending was truly something special. I dare not spoil it, but after seeing the conclusion of this game I have completely changed my worldview. Humanity as a whole will be shook by this game.
This game deserves to be hung up in the Louvre. I have never seen anything like it before, and I doubt we will ever see another masterpiece as beautiful and inspiring as this. This game will be remembered as one of those most important and influential pieces of modern art. The rating scale of Delicious Fruit is not enough to convey my feelings toward it. Perhaps I cannot even truly appreciate the game yet as the story is so deep and important that it requires a good few years of reflection before you can say "I understand". But for now, I will savor it.

This game suggests various rooms to play with, with quite hard jumps. I enjoyed the game quite a lot, but the last stage was quite tedious.

There're so many novel jumps that I have to practice them in RMJ,but it's enjoyable.
The second save in the last screen is the most difficult to me because I don't know how to "pause jump".

I didn't finish the final boss because I hate the inconsiderate boss design (yes the leek circle attack). The rest of the game were much better than the origin ones. 7.5/10.

Generic needle game with bad visuals and a lot of obnoxious shit. There's a screen filled with downward underwater diagonals that is quite annoying to play, and the second save of the final screen is actually very difficult, requiring an extremely precise drop before doing a bunch of platform bullshit (feat. a corner you probably won't have good align for).
If the second save of the final screen were removed (and maybe the minispike and water rooms nerfed somewhat too), it would be an okay needle game to play in roulette or something, but it's honestly just dumb as-is.
