Its a little bit fangame crossed with a fair bit of a point-and-click adventure type feel set in the Wookie storyline.
Check it out if you're looking for a little more story in your fangame and definitely a memorable one.

A nice little pure-platforming adventure game with a slick, simple polished aesthetic. There's a little bit of a secret-hunting collectathon feel added as a bonus (despite what the game might tell you), but overall its just competent platforming and some classic gimmicks.
There's a couple production spots that could probably have been cleaned up but its a nice little adventure, great for a short fangaming session.

A work in progress project submitted for the shortventure contest, Endless Mirage is an ambitious undertaking that promises to keep growing. Its a fully custom engine with custom artwork everywhere that both feels different but captures the fangame feel. Even as a demo it has a decent amount of content, though don't expect anything epic yet.
Overall, everything looks amazing and gameplay is very smooth. There's a couple rough edges as you'd expect from a WIP but this is a great beginner friendly game, as it feels a little halfway between a more traditional platformer and the precision of a fangame. Its a great example of something big to come and feels pretty spoiler free for what will come in the future, so feel free to get a taste without feeling like you're spoiling the excitement of finding out what Tralexium manages in the long run.

While it is true that the fear theme is not present, it is still a nice little game with good level design. Stage 2 was my favorite one from all the 3 stages.

Another phenomenal production by Mattin in his classic style with the Shortventure theme. Dark atmosphere with a castlevania inspired aesthetic filled with twisted enemies and environments. Arguably a lot more linear than many of his previous works, that distinction doesn't hurt the feeling of exploration you get investigating the little world he's created here.
A variety of platforming gimmicks and obstacles keeps things fresh and a few interesting encounters keep this not-so-short shortventure interesting and exciting. This game is very accessible to new players and quite lenient, yet with enough dynamic interactions to still keep a more experienced player engaged - its easily recommendable to anyone who likes adventure games.

Had a really good time playing this, I had few issues with the game but most of them where fault of my bad PC mixed with some of Mattin's coding.
Every part of the game was fantastic, the backtracking is not annoying, which is a great thing because in some metroidvanias I find backtracking tedious. The bosses are not too tough, yet they can be interesting because of the bosses being unique, fun to play, and each boss having a different memorable atmosphere.
I would definitely recommend from newcomers to veteran players.

Endless Mirage in its current state stands as a demo for a hopefully one-day finished game. I'm thoroughly looking forward to the finished product, as the current state looks very promising. Right from the get-go the production value is staggering, with all original sprites and a very polished atmosphere, mixed in with some simple yet fun gimmicks and a puzzle or two, it captures that good ol' adventure feel.
As you'd expect with it being a demo, it's somewhat on the short side. However, the quality definitely makes up for it. It strays somewhat from traditional fangames and adapts a slightly different style, although one that should no doubt feel familiar to most fangame players.
A very nice taster of a game. Looking forward to the complete version!

Yellow Shoes 2 is a charming adventure that moulds into the Shortventure theme very nicely, starting as a simple and sweet adventure before descending into the dark and spooky depths. One of my favourite parts about the game were the textboxes, and in combination the writing. It was all done in an often humourous and charming way which helped encapsulated the adventure feel. The level design also felt well thought out, particularly to regards to backtracking in certain segments which can very easily feel like a chore, but was managed in a way that made it feel different and/or faster than before. The curse gimmick was interesting, although I felt perhaps a slight increase in time might've alleviated some of the trickier saves, most notably the first red/green vine save. I particularly liked the final stage, which utilized the laser gimmick in fun ways and suited the stage atmosphere very well.
As mentioned previously, I feel some of the saves in the cursed cave area stung a little in difficulty compared to the rest of the game, which can partly be attributed down to the gimmick introduction and getting used to the timing. I think introducing the gimmick with a couple of easier saves might work nicely, or just lengthening the curse bar a little bit to avoid punishing really small mistakes. I was also a little confused in the large water area, which took me a few moments to understand what exactly I was looking for. Small things such as an indicator of the jellyfish direction or slight nerfs on precision for some saves (such as in the laser area) might also make the gameplay flow smoother.
Overall though this was a really nice shortventure, and just made for a fun play. I also especially enjoyed the end boss, which felt like a fitting boss character given the theme alongside some fun attacks and reasonable difficulty. Good stuff Asza!
