Neat gravity flipping align puzzle-y saves. You can rotate the screen with x but it always breaks after a while and you'll have to restart the game for it to work again.

This game was clearly made as a joke and it's incredibly funny/trollish.
BUT
It is still a very fun game, not all that hard, and was worth all the time and laughs it got from me.

Boss was fun. Intro might be a bit hard and I generally don't like bouncing next to a wall but otherwise a nice challenge for my level.
Needle was just regular stuff, and I also liked it. Corner screen was funny.
Sometimes it's hard to understand where the edge of the block is due to the lack of a visual edge but it wasn't a real problem.

What is known as one of the most famous fangames in the community is sadly one of my lesser favorites I have played so far. It's known for some traps that end up reappearing in Tatsujin's other games, like the classic "PIKA PIKA OOOOH PIKA PII" trap. Don't forget the final boss avoidance that you might have seen before in a game like Kamilia 3.
You start off at an hub area where you can take two routes: The upper route and lower route. Each area has an secret, and it is required if you want to beat the optional (and harder) boss rush.
If you take the down route you go to an black & white area. You have these circles which upon touching grants you infinite jumping for a short time while passing all the thorns. The boss here was far too easy, in my opinion. The gimmick from this area is involved here and was pretty fun now that I think of it, but it could have been a little bit better.
After that you make it to the Pokémon area. Mostly just simple platforming here. I wasn't a huge fan o f the first boss, especially due to the cheap but predictable laser attack. This attack returns in the actual boss of that area. It has a lot of HP with most of them being easy attacks with the exception of that and the anime girl which rises from the ground.
If you take the other route you end up at this blue area with a bunch of traps. The rotating square towards the half of the area was original and well done. This was the area I liked the most. Too bad it was rather short. The boss here is rather simple with not a lot of special attacks until you get to 2/3rd of the fight, where the rotating square returns and is used in a challenging way.
The final area was definitely my least favorite of them all. The hitbox for these moving gear thingies was really frustrating for me, and the secret item to get was really easy compared to the others. After finally passing through all of that, you end up at the final boss... an avoidance! Arguably the reason why most people try out this fangame. It's rather easy, but most attacks here are slow-paced and mess with your movement a bit. The avoidance extends in the boss rush, where it plays the full song instead of the shorter version along with new and much harder attacks.
It is far from being the worst fangame out there, but despite it's age it's one of Tsutashin's lesser good games. Play something like Go the Parallel World or Orbit instead if you like trap games.

This game was pretty fun for me :D
This was my very first experience with an fangame.
I played it on Hard-on Mode. My playtime was like 50h with 11431 deaths. I nearly complete the game with 100% and it was really challenging.
Pretty well made Bosses as well.
I recommend it :)

What a wonderful little challenge! I Wanna Assimilate The Needle is a challenging little needle game. Usually, I'm a fan of adventure and trap fangames, but this one turned out wonderful. Can't wait to see whats next!
