Rating based on version 3.1.
Random placement for everything, terrible use of generic traps, lots of invisible blocks that don't appear and fake blocks that don't disappear. Awful visual choices, a boring boss randomly placed at some point of the game, paths that lead to nowhere, hidden paths all around, saves that kill you. The best part is that it's unfinished, and you'll only realize that the last screen is the last screen after dying at every single possible corner because it looks exactly the same as any other screen in the game.
It's simply terrible. Highly not recommended.

This is a decently long adventure game revolving around collecting items/pages and backtracking. I really like the gimmicks and visuals, and the level design was also great, but I think it would have been way better without 80% of the traps. (and non-restarting music.) This game could have been legendary, but instead it's just good. Not saying I don't like this game, because I do.
It's still Carnival's best game by far. The spriting is awesome, the level design is pretty good (excluding traps) and apparently there's a decent story. I really want to recommend this game but it depends on your patience and whether or not you can tolerate being ganked at the end of nearly every save in the game.

Game starts you out in a room with 3 portals one is sealed off and you can't access it until you beat the other 2. The game also only has one song and it's in the avoidance so have some needle/boss grinding music ready.
The left portal contains a healthy amount of needle screens with a great difficulty curve. The jumps have good diversity and overall is a solid needle segment. The right portal contains a boss that is pretty rough and is rng, has a lot of hp, and has a pretty long invincibility frame making the fight pretty lengthy and grindy.
If you beat both portals the 3rd one contains a miku avoidance and holy balls is it tough. It's heavily rng based with fast paced curving fruit especially on the last attack which you might spend most of your time trying to grind through.
Overall this game was pretty fun and I would recommend the needle to anybody. The avoidance on the other hand is hard enough to not be possible for all skill levels. It's just not worth grinding if you aren't experienced enough. It's easy to mess up on most attacks and you'll just waste hours and hours grinding segments that aren't worth grinding.

pretty good.
this game consists of short platforming and one avoidance. in other words, only 1 stage exist.
platforming is nothing special. no traps, a little spikes, and it's not much hard.
but avoidance is hard little bit. some attacks are RNG, and some attacks are fixed but it seemed RNG. some of fixed attacks are hard to see, but... it's fixed attack. death = experience.
in this game you'll control giraffe or something. since it's not the original kid, and its height is taller than that, maybe you will be confused to expect your hit points for a while.
good graphics!
