If you wanna play it for the historical experience go ahead, but otherwise I'd recommend the newer uhuhu style games
Most of it is alright, but the visuals are rather distracting and there's a few hairy saves towards the end with a lot of steaks and air gates (I imagine it's less painful if you're decent at shift cancels unlike me)

A very enjoyable game, a nice recopilation of various maps from I wanna Maker, highly recommended, has a very variety of gameplay!

This review is based on a 100% Completion

Cultured 2 is a game I respect more than I actually enjoy, although it is a fun game. It's a medley which does some things better than most and some things worse than most. This game, at least to me, feels very needle oriented, with bosses taking a backseat. Most medleys tend to have the needle be significantly easier than the bosses, but in this game they are about the same, which usually means if you are a decently balanced player you'll probably spend a lot more time on the needle than the bosses. The needle is pretty good for the most part, there's good screen picks and lots of variety, but the bosses are a bit weak for medley bosses in my opinion. A lot of them feel like they just go to random places, which sounds normal for a medley, but most medley bosses have one enemy that ties the whole thing together, think Shine and Bright in K3 or Influka from K2, there's one major enemy and a bunch of sub enemies rather than a bunch of random things. The main bosses that had this issue in this game were boss 4 and 5. The final boss I'm also mixed on because it doesn't feel like a super climactic conclusion to me, but it's decently fun. As for 100%, there's a mixed bag of content to delve into. Some stuff like boss rush and the secrets are fun to do, and then there's bifficult which is a pretty major slog. Bifficult is mostly defined for me by really annoying needle buffs that take forever to get through and aren't really that fun. The major exception is stage 6 which was great, and that includes the window stage and Hiddow avoidance, but really beyond those things Bifficult, and 100% as a whole in this game just aren't worth going through. There's a ton of content in this game for sure but I'd just say do what's fun and ignore the rest, because to be honest I really don't think this game is worth sitting through for a 100% completion.

Neat concept and fun. Pretty well executed though it definitely only barely scratches the surface of what exists in Maker and whats to offer.

The production is solid and clean throughout, it draws upon a good bit of variety present in Maker and adds its own touches in a great way for the stages, and the bosses were varied and interesting.

The team always hopes that Maker would inspire more people into fangames and do interesting things with it, and this is a very worthy homage.

I was a playtester for this game, and am a buddy of kg's, so take this review with like half a grain of salt, or whatever you like, I'm not picky. I'm also quite new to fangames, only playing them for about a year, and my hardest clear being around a 65.

This is one of my favorite fangames that I have played. It has 2 stages, both with fun and unique gimmicks, great music, and a fun boss at the end. I personally enjoyed the first stage quite a lot, and the effort that went into making it fun shows. And the last screen of the stage is just a blast to play. Great stuff. The saves are also very generous in the first stage, making it a bit easier than the second, however it isn't drastic. The second stage has super interesting and unique gimmicks, and (this may just be me) quite tricky platforming. The music fits the stage well with the style of play, being very fast paced. The boss is, in my opinion, the weakest part of the game, but that doesn't mean its bad. For being a short game, the boss is quite intricate, and the design is pretty cool.

All around, I think this game is incredible, and a very strong start for the anthology. I believe this is one of kg's best works, and I am very excited to play the rest of the anthology games that he has planned.

This is a medley largely based on I Wanna Maker maps, and before you exit the page I urge you to play this since it will absolutely go above your expectations. Not only does it do a good job at accomplishing such, but it actually stands as one of the best fangames I've played, especially up there in the medley genre as well.

Almost the entirety of the game is spent doing something interesting, even the one needle screen I could remember had a gimmick where you could place two extra saves. Various gimmicks from Maker are brought in of course, such as the parachute or bubble, but the largest focus is going to be related to how people used I Wanna Maker to create crazy maps. This means there are really cool bosses, avoidances, and even minigames throughout the medley (the last of which completely demolishing the concept of boss rush). The final stage is pretty neat as well, and combines screens from the earlier parts of the game, literally. And then there's the final boss, which is an exciting tribute to the developers of I Wanna Maker and is a pretty spectacle. I didn't have much a problem with anything, though I will say the PvZ game actually felt pretty damn hard, and the Kurath sandstorm chase as well as the first phase of final boss seemed way harder than every other part

I saw this game and was pretty skeptical on it, but I'm glad I gave it a try because it was really fun and I recommend it a lot. I've not heard of the makers here before, but now I'll definitely have to keep them on the radar.
