this game is too long and the lack of unique visuals really hurts this game. There is also way too much jtool needle compared to the gimmick needle (which never really got too interesting either)

This is a good needle game!
This is a pretty good challenge, and I really love the style you went for, it looks similar to something I'm currently working on! The only thing I wish you could address is the weird jump glitch that some other people mentioned in the comments, plus maybe make the colors flash less frequently. (Personally, I think maybe making the colors slowly fade to some other color would be sick as hell)
